We don't care if you got lots of quotes and what's the point of commenting. People want to know if you used any of the garages and if the work was carried out to a high standard. Pointless otherwise.

Allow users to input email addresses without verifying them meaning that I keep getting emails from them because some idiot with the same name as me doesn't know what their Gmail email address is

Nearly every quote I received was from a dodgy broker who sends your vehicle to garages that have no reviews, no internet footprint, and very little evidence of being a genuine company. There is no "trust" in engine trust from me

Very poor service. Don't reply to any correspondence following paying the thousands for an engine that runs terrible. Still ongoing latest the cam chain they fitted is wrongly installed. Don't get involved with this company like I sadly did.

Only received 1 quote from a garage that is miles away from where I live so would be unable to be towed there. Not feesible - looking for assistance fairly local not over 50 miles and over an hour drive time in a functional car

I don't believe that Engine Trust have trusted suppliers. I accepted the quote in June 2022 it was £1495. Once I dropped the car in the garage it went another £3322.80 inc VAT. Since my vehicle is reconditioned there it started giving problems, so I return to them. They return it saying no problem with the engine. In August my vehicle breakdown so I called them for assistance. They told me that the garage has moved to a different location. Now I'm in September 4 weeks passed but still, the vehicle is with them with no sign of fixing the problem. *The supplier doesn't even have a garage but uses someone else *No support available aftersale from both Engine Trust & supplier

I received a Quote from TM Engines Ltd Happy with quote then asked about having my car collected. Was told by “Rick” it would be around £250. Received a text with Shopia bank details and a price £320. Refused this quote then received another text with same bank details from Rick at £250. Paid by BACS. This was last I heard from TM Engine. Thinking now I have been scammed. Contact my bark to start investigation. Contacting Trading standards with all information about your website and TM Engine has 11 business linked to address shown on quote. Police also informed.

Most of the quotes come from scam artists who find other things wrong and increase the price.

I attempted to deal with one of the so called vetted dealers and was almost scammed to the point where I arranged to have my car collected and could have potentially never seen it again according to further research into the company. It was operating under 3 different names (that I could find). They are being investigated by trading standards ( which explains the many business names) and this particular company have collected cars, completed no work on them and demanded 000's from people just to get their cars back. They abuse the rights garages have to hold cars until they receive payments. Check for websites and actual reviews, trust a trader, trust a garage ect. Do your own vetting folks. I am purposely not listing the particular dealer in hopes that this review stays put... Hope this helps ....
