I took out my policy on the 8th of Jan, on the 9th of Jan i had a break down where my drive shaft snapped, clearly I was unaware this was going to happen but because my policy was less than 48 hours live I was not covered dispite me being charged from the 8th of Jan. You get what you pay for in this world, cheap doesnt mean best, unfortuantly.

Mr Edwards, Thank you for your comments. Our policy wording and quotation engine make it perfectly clear that there is a 48 hour inception period before you are able to call upon our service. It even goes to the point of ensuring a declaration is read to this effect and acknowledged prior to you obtaining a quote in the initial instance. Regards The 2Gether Motor Breakdown Team

Hi Mr Edwards, We haven't had a revised review which is a little disappointing, our cover clearly states a 48 hour inception period and this is quite common within the motor breakdown market. We do feel it is unfair to provide a negative review on something that is clearly stated prior to your purchase, we would appreciate your comments. 2Gether Motor Breakdown Team.

Mr Struthers, Thank you for your comments. Our online system automatically emails out the associated documents upon completion of purchase in every instance. Sometimes overly aggressive inbox spam filters class this as junk, so we find client's sometimes overlook this. We apologise you did not receive these, so if you haven't already, I have resent the documentation to your email address. Again our apologies. The 2Gether Motor Breakdown Team

Very sneeky of you to leave out important info like the limited amount of call outs and that if something had to happen you would take the car to the nearest garage but it may not be near my home. Then after we pay we see this then you have the nerve to charge us a £10 cancellation fee becasuse of your miss selling. I will never recomend you and will bad mouth you at every opitunity that I had. Bunch of thieves that's what you are. Good bye and good riddance.

Mr Buyskes, Thank you for your comments and we apologise you feel as you do, however prior to the point of purchase you would have had opportunity to view and read our policy wordings which confirm the benefits of our cover levels. Additionally, you would not have been able to obtain a quote in the initial instance without agreeing to our Terms of Business, within which state our cancellation charge should you voluntarily cancel the cover within the first 14 days. Regards The 2Gether Motor Breakdown Team

The quote was £42.50 but I was charged £49.16p so I am not very pleased. Thank you for your reply but the quote on "go compare still shows £42.50p". I booked through this system and not direct so I should have had the discount. I would appreciate the consideration of a reimbursement for the difference please. many thanks Jeff Glock

Mr Glock, We have looked through our system and there is no record of you having received a quotation of £42.50, only of the £49.16 which you proceeded with. If you are able to supply evidence of the £42.50 quotation we will gladly refund the difference. Regards The 2Gether Motor Breakdown Team

Mr Vano, Thank you for your comments. You should have received a confirmation email containing your policy information and wording. If you haven't already, check your junk and/or spam folder and if you still cannot locate the email, please contact us at enquiries@2gi.co.uk and we can reissue this for you. First time my daughter tried to use the service, she got through to a grumpy man who gave the impression he did not want to be bothered by the call. He said it would take 90 mins (!) to arrive (bear in mind, this was a vulnerable young lady calling for help) and said if the call out was cancelled there would be a hefty fee to pay. Of course they were not called out. Totally dissatisfied. Read the small print before buying. It's not what it seems and we feel misled. Moneysupermarket should not be recommending companies like this. Will never use this company again or recommend them to anyone.

Ms Lankey, Thank you for your comments. Having looked into your particular case, the reason your daughter would have unfortunately have to have waited 90 minutes for attendance, is because her breakdown occurred during a peak period of callouts for our agents. Whilst our average attendance time is under 60 minutes, unfortunately this does occasionally vary, due to numerous factors outside of our control. We do look to prioritise people in a vulnerable situation, and 90 mins in this instance would have been the quickest we were able to attend, given the circumstances. Kind Regards 2Gether Motor Breakdown Team

We purchased the insurance but same day noticed it didn't have relay to home which we needed so as you don't offer this service we had to cancel. Unfortunately you charged us £10 which I feel very disappointed with .

Mr Hussain, Thank you for your comments. In our experience 6 call outs per annum is more than adequate and would perhaps suggest a vehicle which has more than 6 breakdowns in a 12 month period has more terminal issues. Additionally we do not charge an excess on any of our products. Kind Regards 2Gether Motor Breakdown Team

Paid for a breakdown policy without being able to read the small print as it wasn't available. Found the vehicles aren't listed on the policy documents when sent. Emailed to try and have it corrected but no reply, then noticed the recovery is only within 10 miles of home rather than 25 as listed previously. The cancellation fee happens to be for the same amount as I paid for the premium, but still waiting for a response several days later. Will be reporting to the Financial Ombudsman as this breaches several guidelines.

absolutely rubbish policy not worth the paper its written on .called for assistance to be told that you don't have mechanics on at weekends so could not do anything to help as I was already at home. As I was due to go away the next day was not even offered the car hire that I should of been entitled to . It goes without saying that I will not be renewing my membership with you when required and neither will the other customers that I have recommended .I feel so strongly about this bad service that I have received from your company that for the sake of a dead spark plug that your company should have been able to come out and rectify such a small and easy problem instead of me having to borrow a car so I could commence my journey .complete rubbish policy and complete rubbish company look forward to a reply but doubt I will get one

They had problems finding my details and some confusion when I called up with a breakdown, excuses and lies made when I contacted them asking them to address several issues with the breakdown after the callout, and very poor communication - all emails sent to the email address they provide are ignored and unanswered. A very poor breakdown company - I wouldn't recommend. Not worth the stress when it's already stressful enough having broken down.

Just had to use this breakdown service, it was truly appalling. It took 7.5 hours to be collected. It appeared that 2Gether breakdown insurance, sub out to drive-365, they sub out to Eggertons, who then sub out to Walls breakdown. I am in the process of trying to get my money back. KEEP WELL CLEAR!

On a motorcycle I had a flat tyre and when I called they could not help me, I asked them to forward me a number of a garage who could help and they sent me the number for a national tyre service who did not provide motorcycle tyres!

I was stuck on the busy A6 having put unleaded fuel into my diesel car (the pump nozzle was black instead of green), I had a 15 month old baby and a dog in the car. The call centre were unable to cross reference my car reg, my name or my post code with their details (my policy number was actually written on my phone) so I was unable to tell them it. I had to hang up, get the number, write it down and wait for them to ring me back. Once we'd gone through all that, I was then told my policy did not cover improper use of fuel. Great! Not much use paying for Breakdown cover when you're not covered for ....er ...breaking down.
