Service and comms is very good but the item sent, a fragile heating element, was sent in a plastic bag with no protective padding. Please use better packaging in future please.

New element replacement oven fan wasn't quite the same as the original. I needed nuts for the bolts, where as the original fan bolts just screwed into the lugs of the fan. And the replacement oven fan was a little longer than the original fan. So couldn't put oven shield back on in oven. So to be honest I wouldn't buy again. Make sure if you buy a replacement, it's like for like for measurements.

The element that i bought fit well but until i got i didn't realise it was made for the European market and not the UK the Voltage was 220 V and not 230/240 Volts so this will affect the working life of the actual element so be careful when buying these things and don't get caught out by the price and always look at the voltage to make sure it's the correct voltage first.

Hello, There are not differing elements made for UK and European markets, as the voltage is the same in both - 230V allowable to be -6% and +10%. Regardless, you ordered the genuine Beko part, which is going to be exactly the same no matter where you get it from at any one time, which is listed at 1100w/1100w at 230V. Although the new oven element arrived quite quickly, this is the third one I've had in the past 5 years. ie the previous replacement lasted only 14 months, and the one before that under three years. At this rate, this new one might only last a couple of months. Not the company's fault, but as usual with everything these days, cheap, also often means nasty. I'd be happier to pay twice the price, if it lasted 3 times longer. But even the branded ones, are probably made in the same Chinese factory alongside the cheap ones, so there's no guarantees.

Although pleased with my purchase it stated on the website next day delivery if ordered before 4pm it didn't arrive for nearly a week

Ordered the element Friday evening, wasn’t processed till Monday morning and delivered Wednesday afternoon, paid for 48hr delivery so feel disappointed as in my mind that’s 5 days. Couldn’t find anything on your site saying you only work Monday to Friday

Hello, At the very top of our delivery information page we state 'Any orders placed after 4pm Friday are dispatched the following Monday.' This can be seen here: https://www.elementreplacement.co.uk/delivery--product-information-2-w.asp This is also echoed on the cart page, before you checkout. We paid for next day delivery at a cost of £6.99 and that just did not happen. It stated order by 9pm for next day which we did. We got it the day after that, so we could have paid the low price!

Hello, Sorry, I'm not sure if you are confusing your order with us, with another? We charge £5.99 for Tracked 24 delivery, not £6.99. However, you did not choose this option - you chose Tracked 48 delivery which takes a couple of days. Therefore, you got your item on time. This replacement element replaced the previous replacement element, that’s not that good as a new element should last more than a year or so.

It was advertised as an original replacement part. It didn’t arrive in any Hotpoint packing to show it was a genuine part. The last one I got from a different supplier did come in a Hotpoint bag. I’m left to wonder where this came from and how long will it last ?

Hello, We often remove bags etc so we can add protective cardboard packing to terminals and brackets. In this case, if you take a look at the bracket of your element you should be able to see the manufacturer of the element, which in Hotpoint's case is EGO. Also, it carries a 12 month warranty as do all genuine parts. Regards, Element Replacement Team

The element was very poor quality not fixed firm to mounting bracket so it could move backward and touch the back of the cooker

Ok price. Prompt delivery but unfortunately the outer grill element doesn’t work. Fortunately the inner grill element works ok making the unit essentially fit for purpose and therefore not worth the hassle of being without a grill for a longer period going through a returns process.

Replacement element arrived quickly and was good value, but wasn't quite the right fit, despite Element Replacement's website indicating it would be a natch for my oven. This meant the element cover wouldn't go back on. However, clamping the element in a vice and using pliers to alter its shape slightly solved this problem. Would have given five stars if it wasn't for this.

Replacement fan motor arrived in good time, however the packaging could have been better due to some slight damage. Part works perfectly well and customer services were very quick in resolving my observation.

If you are not getting the heat you expect, we would recommend checking the thermostat or the fan motor - which could be the reason why the element failed in the first place. Good delivery service, prompt. Installation bit tricky and also noticed element bending slightly after a few days usage making toast. Original took a few years to bend but this in a few days unfortunately.

Good service but disappointed I couldn’t pay over the phone, but had to pay online. Only 2 months ago my PayPal account was scammed so don’t like to use this method anymore.
