My review was 3 months a go. The problem still isn’t fixed and no it’s not the decking that is the problem. There has been a leak before the the decking was fixed which is logged your end as were the visits. I regularly ensure all drainage vents are cleared. There is a gap in the corner fixture that has leaked from the start. Please please can we fix this problem once and for all. With 6 week intervals between visits its now 4 months and still a leak….no end in sight. Aftercare service is as important as the sales

We have unfortunately experience several substantive leaks. No follow up having contacted the team for an engineer visit. Very very disappointing. Still no feedback when the most recent leak will be dealt with. Furniture and rugs pulled back to prevent damage. Ultimately very poor aftercare. Regretting having chosen Eden.

Dear Customer, We're sincerely sorry that we have not met your expectations regarding the aftercare service and understand how frustrating it must be to have ongoing issues without resolution. As you are aware, we’ve arranged for an engineer to attend in the very near future. However, we must advise that, having re-examined photographs of the previous leak 3 years ago, it appears that the water ingress during heavy rainfall is likely due to the addition of some decking, subsequent to our installation, which has been fitted at a higher level than the original patio, effectively blocking the drainage outlets within the door tracks. We look forward to seeing you in the near future to thoroughly investigate the cause of this issue and assure you that we are committed to doing all we can to resolve this matter. Dear Mr Adams We're sorry to hear that you're unhappy with the service you received from us. From our records, I can see that we provided you with a quotation for our Amalfi awning in the summer and you chose not to go ahead at that time. You then enquired again in December and, as a gesture of goodwill, we offered an additional percentage discount. You then requested that the additional percentage discount should be applied to the previously discounted price rather than our list price, which we declined to offer. Though we cannot reduce our prices any further to meet your requirements, we do apologise for any disappointment we have inadvertently caused you. We also remain willing to honour the quotation provided in December for a further seven days, should you, upon reflection, decide to go ahead with the discounted deal. We hope to hear from you. The blind itself is excellent HOWEVER the installation caused damage to our walls which resulted in serious water ingress into our living room during heavy rain. A repair team was eventually sent but were not qualified to carry out the instructions they were given . The repair that they provided has just been put to the test and failed miserably and we have water pouring into our house again. In spite of contacting them in May after the team came, we have had no response. I have contacted them again with todays pictures of the damage to interior walls , blinds and curtains, and await a response.

As you know, we have arranged for our technical design manager to visit you in person, along with our surveyor, to investigate this leak. Unbelievable that there is no aftercare service and that nobody from Eden Verandas tried to help. I just heard time after time “we have no aftercare service and that is it”. I wasn’t asking for a free service. I was just asking for someone to come and do a general clean up on the two awnings that I have in my house. Total lack of professionalism. Very disappointing!!!!

We're very sorry to hear how disappointed you are with the service we offer, but trust that you have been happy with the awnings overall. To clarify, your awnings do come with a warranty and aftercare, for which we employ specialist engineers. However we do not employ cleaners nor offer a cleaning service. If you are unable to clean the bird droppings yourself, please search for a local cleaning company that will be better placed to assist you. Unfortunately, we are not local to you and are unable to recommend a particular company that we have personally used. However, we have sent you a link to Checkatrade which lists numerous companies offering this service in your area. Where do I start the guys that came out to fit it could not get away quick enough and did do there job didn't fit lead flashing and told me it would leak and oh my god did leak I got in touch with eden they sent someone out but he didn't fix the leaks then we had someone to sort the door out which he had to adjust the door to sort it yet again the fitters didn't do there job then we we still had leaks and we had to put heating in to dry are carpet out and we get a good will gesture

We had an open verandah installed in 2020. We were initially happy with the price and product but it started to rust through in several places which we noticed last winter. I sent pictures to Eden Verandahs this April as we are still well within the guarantee period and they were initially helpful saying this that they would arrange an engineer visit. However we heard nothing and I e mailed again after three months. They responded that it was their busiest time, although I suppose it wasn't their busiest time threee months previously when I raised the matter, and they would come back to me 'as soon as we have a date'. I have tried telephoning but they will not commit to even making an initial visit saying they don't know when they will be in the area, which is Dorset, although they advertise nationwide. It is now over seven months with no action at all apart from a small tin of paint (I assume) arriving a couple of months ago. I think they are just hoping I'll lose heart and go away. An unsatisfactory product for the money and very poor service in breach of their waranty

The glass room that I waited about 6 months for has been nothing but a nightmare with constant leaks and slow and disinterested customer service. I would not recommend and sadly wish I had never had it installed.

If I could give no stars it would better reflect the real score 93% on this review site poppycock... this Company has left me with a unfinished £40,000.00 glass veranda that's not fit for purpose. My story starts back on November 16 2021 and that is when my nightmare began when Geoff Lloyd conned me into believing they only have in house installers which is a complete lie because that's exactly what they use sub contractors. Sub contractors who are unqualified split between other companies ie Crocodile during fitting your job exhausted stressed resulting in substandard installation, the company return to renege on agreement about how to make it right because after making me wait for another 6 months they have decided to cut corners to fix a already shoddy install. If I knew then what i know now I would avoid this company like the plague. I was blatantly lied to by the salesman in order to get a signed contract I was then promised it would be a complete rebuild basically. They cancel dates show up with workman unfit to do job due to injury or only 1 guy shows up because the others are unreliable I have been left with a mess 16 months after that conman sold me a lie taking my life savings I only wish you could put photos on here

After meeting with Eden’s salesman in March 2022 we ordered and paid our deposit and we’re quoted approximately 12 weeks for installation. Marvellous we enjoy our veranda in the Autumn sunshine. Wrong ! The reality is July our order was sent to Germany then nothing heard from Eden for 3 months, after e-mails, frustrating telephone calls we were told our veranda would be at Farnborough on 24th October & informed installation would be ‘shortly thereafter’ . Wrong again ! The reality is December 5th delivery & installation 6th wrong again ! Delivered on the 6th installation on the 7th. Unfortunately 4 large panes of glass were cracked on the lorry, never mind we should get it completed by Christmas, wrong again ! After chasing non- customer services and asking three different members of staff ( I can name them) nobody has the decency to call us back and gives us a delivery date for glass which is available & cut here in the UK. New year comes & 9 weeks later we are here on 13th February 2023. At this point I have to say the fitters, delivery team, and Steve the technical surveyor have all been superb. But we are still missing some parts to complete so I’m expecting another 9 weeks before we actually get finished, that’s a year since first contact and on hindsight the worst decision ever. Eden do not answer the telephone, certainly do not return calls, their customer care is non existent, delivery dates are plucked from the iCloud, shame as the product is typically German 1st class. Conclusion :- If you’ve got £25,000 to spare and want to buy a years worth of stress then contact Eden Verandas on the other hand, if I were you I’d go on a World Cruise instead, much better for your health ! I wouldn’t recommend Eden to anybody.

Having placed an order for a cube in may we were advised this may take 12 to 18 weeks for delivery. This was installed some 26 weeks later. Incorrectly manufactured with the roof glass not sealing. Assembled with the legs out of plumb. Aluminium cut on artificifical grass endangering our pets. Why the patio or drive was t used has still not been explained! No product knowledge. Even the sales team aren’t aware that the product is German. Drilling through the down pipe and demanding final payment. Damage to the cross member. Not an apology or explanation from anyone at Eden

My glass room was installed in November but as yet we have not been able to use it. Firstly even though its well ventilated the condensation drios on you all the time making all tge furniture damp plus its not sealed properly against the outside wall and leaks. Ive been waiting for someone to come and inspect it for weeks but they just keep thanking me for my patience. Its been a total waste of money and wouldn't recommend it.

Hi Tess We're sorry you are experiencing condensation and that there is some water ingress through the lead flashing. Though some condensation is normal, (and we would recommend heating and ventilating the room or installing a dehumidifier to reduce this as far as possible), I can confirm that we have an appointment for an engineer to investigate the issue and remedy the leak next Thursday. Paid for them to get planning permissions. They erected the veranda so we assumed they had got the permission,but they hadn’t,and we may have to have it removed

We placed our order in late June and were initially promised a fitting date in September but still waiting. I completely accept that delays have occurred that have been out of Eden Verandas control such as delays at Ports but communication has been extremely poor throughout. We stipulated when we placed our order that we needed our garden room before Christmas and were told this would be the case something I very much doubt. I hope I am proved wrong! We have been told that there were delays with importing the goods, next the goods had arrived but windows that are manufactured in the UK have been delayed and the latest is 'they require a few more weeks to finalise fitting' as their fitters are busy. We phone and email regularly but do not get a response, I called yesterday at 1.30pm and was told the lady I needed to speak to was at lunch and would not be able to return my call as she finished work at 3pm. I will add that at no time have we been anything but polite to the staff. If you decide to use this company I hope your experience is better than ours has been todate.

Still waiting for completion of our project. Parts missing from Germany, Broken glass and decking incomplete. We have paid tens of thousands of pounds for a room we cannot use. I cannot see the end to this nightmare as no-one takes ownership of the problems. Customer service doesn't return calls, even though they promise to. We were told 18-22 weeks completion when we signed the contract were now at week 33! If this is not resolved quickly we will be taking further action. We have been lied to on many occasions. There is no excuse.

We believe that a date has been provisionally booked with you to finish the installation dependant on the replacement parts arriving with us. Unfortunately, there have been unforeseen circumstances that have occurred, however, we are sure that the finished installation will offset these initial frustrations.

We had an awning ordered. Had the survey done. Deposit taken. Then to be told weeks later that they can’t do it due to our bricks ??? Called our builder out to assess who advised us there wasn’t an issue. We are reading between the lines. Installation was going to be awkward and as we where not spending into 5 figures probably wasn’t worth the hassle for them. They also sent use someone else’s deposit receipt.

The salesman visited on 18th Sept 2020, very impressed and decided to order a glass veranda. On 12th Oct Jamie the surveyor visited to take measurements for design etc. Rebecca from planning and design has been really helpful. It took until may this year to go through my local planning council (due to our home not having work signed off before we brought it, so were applying for retrospective planning. We got the go ahead early may 2021 and was passed back for review to the surveyor and was then ordered on 21st may. The veranda was delivered on the 17th august (the people who delivered it were hardworking, and it all went well). The veranda was due to be installed on the 24th / 25th august 2021, the fitters arrived promptly and laid all the pieces out ready for installation, they started fitting the brackets to the outside of the building and said they were not happy as the extension is timber framed and would not take the weight of the veranda. They called their boss who agreed and I was told the surveyor would be with me the following morning and I would need a goalpost to support the veranda. The surveyor arrived (on time) and ordered the parts needed. I was told by the surveyor and manager they would be ready in two to three weeks. The goal post design was arranged to be delivered on Sept 30th and fitted on 5th / 6th Oct 2021. On the day of expected delivery i was called to say the drivers mate had tested positive for covid so couldn't be delivered . I did say I was still expecting it to be delivered by next week so the installation could still go ahead. I was assured they would phone later that day to update me (no phone call). I called the next morning and was told they were still trying to sort it out and she would call within an hour (which she did), but said it couldn't be delivered as they now needed a driver and so installation would not take place at the agreed time. So I have paid just under 15k and I have enclosed some photos of what I have so far. To say im not impressed is an understatement, and I hope when it is fitted I will be pleased with the end result. I was trying to add photos so people could see what I have but have been unable to do so. Thanks Lorry
