“Glass room is excellent and we are pleased with the finished product, but dealing with the company is difficult. Our 5 day installation took 14 weeks to complete, we had to chase them constantly to find out what was happening, fitters arrived but the product didn’t. I can not recommend Eden.”

“It would be nice to have a dedicated point of contact for my order at Eden head office . Emails and calls from Eden office came from many different sources. Tried phone line with the six options, at one time tried all six with no response. The awning is just fine 🙂”

“I placed an order for a glass room in early July. I feel at £23k thats a substantial order but feel let down with delivery. First date was 17th October. Then 31st October now they are saying 5th December but cant install it until 21st December which isnt convenient as we are away just before Christmas. I was hoping to use this is lovely new room for Christmas and have furniture waiting to be delivered. Girl on the phone basically said 'Well what are you going to do about it if we cant install it earlier' quite frankly I feel like cancelling it im so disappointed. So update they have just managed to find a slot next week to install my room for which im really grateful and pleased!”

“It feels quite difficult to write this review as the guys, all of them who came to the house were just brilliant so deserve a 5 star plus plus BUT the management of the project was pretty poor and while I was prepared for the job to take a long time , it seemed to me that it was a month longer than it need have been. Anyway, the finished job is great and I’m more than satisfied with the awning.”

“Good quality (German built) veranda, wrong size glass, then scratched glass, then more scratched glass (which can’t be used due to the lamination, and British!!) took months and months to get sorted. Eden did recognise this and took almost £600 off the original price of almost £12,000. Looks good, want to turn it into a garden room but just to expensive, now regret going with Eden due to the cost, almost £5,000 just for one end of a garden room!! At least Dick Turpin wore a mask!”

As you may be aware there has been a vast amount of material shortages recently we has contributed to the delays experienced in replacing the glass for you. Now that your installation is complete, we are pleased to hear that you are satisfied with the final product. “Hi , overall the veranda is OK but we were surprised that when finished the glass was not cleaned. if I was to spend 40k+ on a car it would be delivered to me spotless and I expected the same of the veranda”

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review, we value all feedback and will always use this to better our customer experiences where possible. As part of our service, we clean down completed installations and perform a water test to ensure that there will be no leaks. We are sorry to learn that your glass was not cleaned of watermarks following this demonstration, and apologise that this was missed. Following our telephone conversation earlier today, we have agreed to cover the cost of a local window cleaner to ensure that your glass is left spotless. We hope that this will offset that initial frustration and you enjoy your new glass room for many years to come.

“I first saw eden verandas on the internet however there was no information on prices except that I could get 25% discount (WOW), so I requested a brochure and waited in anticipation for it to arrive. When the brochure/s turned up after glancing through them for five minutes I still have no idea on prices, so I’ve got no idea on cost or how much I could possibly save, needless to say there is no way i’m going to carry on any further with my query, from experience I know that companies like this will be that come to your house to measure up and then give you the hard sell. Give them a wide berth.”

“New Awning recently installed. Looks good but the unit holds water if not closed ahead of a rain shower. Currently working with Eden to check the installation. Will update my review once Eden have revisited site”

Thank you for taking the time to review our company. We were sorry to hear that water was pooling on the awning fabric and were happy to advise that the awning is for sun-shade and should be retracted in the rain! We trust that this resolved the problem for you, but note that your order did not include a wind/rain sensor that will ensure the awning automatically retracts in unsuitable weather. Please do contact us again if you would like a quotation for retrofitting a sensor to this awning. We hope that you are otherwise happy with the installation.
