Dear Mr Adams We're sorry to hear that you're unhappy with the service you received from us. From our records, I can see that we provided you with a quotation for our Amalfi awning in the summer and you chose not to go ahead at that time. You then enquired again in December and, as a gesture of goodwill, we offered an additional percentage discount. You then requested that the additional percentage discount should be applied to the previously discounted price rather than our list price, which we declined to offer. Though we cannot reduce our prices any further to meet your requirements, we do apologise for any disappointment we have inadvertently caused you. We also remain willing to honour the quotation provided in December for a further seven days, should you, upon reflection, decide to go ahead with the discounted deal. We hope to hear from you.
