“The van was ready, clean and the paperwork prompt. Good van, easy to drive and economical. The only irritation was that it was pretty well completely empty and I had to make my immediate first stop a filling station. (Showing 50 miles to dry).”

I have just checked your booking & when you booked online the amount you paid was for that of a non Tail Lift Luton so this must have been the vehicle selected when booking. Did you mention this to the Yeovil staff? If we had one with a tail lift available at the time we would have been more than happy to change you into one. Apologies for any inconvenience. “Booked a Van online to collect on a Friday 17:00. Got a call around 14:00 on the day and told the office shuts at 17:00 so I had to get there before that or they will have shut. Had to get a collegue to take me to pick the Van up and then return to work. Why have a 17:00 option if you cannot collect at this time?”

You can normally Daniel, on this occasion we were short staffed and the person in charge of the branch needed to be away at 17:00 for a personal appointment. Sorry that you were inconvenienced.

“Have used DVR for van rental many times in the past few months and will continue to do so in the future. Service is very good. Vans are always in good condition. The only bugbear is that the vans never return fully fuelled. And trying to return them to the fuel level they were hired it is a real pain. Full to full is much easier.”

“Picked Dorset Vehicle Rental due to good on line reviews, and they did not disapoint. Quick to respond to queries and excellent service from beginning to end of hire. Excellent advice when I asked about moving another item. Will certainly use again. I have said 2 to 3 hours for response time, but this was an out of usual hours e-mail. I was surprised, I had expected the reply the next day. I would assume in normal hours would be much quicker.”
