“Super helpful when I called with a few questions and told me what vehicles were available at my nearest branch after my first booking was rejected and I had a flap!!!! The branch were great too, efficient, helpful and gave me a van with a tail-lift which was a game changer trying to move house on my own!”

“Wonderful service. Perfectly judged car choice offered. Fuss free. We needed a car at very short notice and DVR obliged. We were on our way in no time and the gentleman who looked after us could not have been more helpful. Highly recommended.”

“I received professional and friendly service. First I was helped by Alex in Dorchester who was informative and very helpful. I hired the car from Weymouth due to it being the closest branch for collection and drop off. All staff were great. The car was just what we needed, clean tidy and ready for collection when we arrived. Drop off was easy and the deposit returned 48 hours later. Great service, thank you.”

“Online booking is the norm now and seems to work for DVR but did I get my 10% discount? After booking all seemed ok the vehicles are in good order and a good variety for the chosen job. Understand that a £200 deposit has to be paid with optional extras for insurance but not happy it takes three days for the deposit to be returned and no it’s not due to the bank. However overall I’ll continue to use DVR as they do offer a good service and competitive price and for me they’re local .”

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. You did receive the discount yes. We refunded your deposit on the same day of you returning the vehicle. It takes a few days to show up in your account as it would have been pending and your bank need to release it. For future reference if you are unable to wait for the deposit to be returned you are able to pay the deposit in cash. Therefore once the vehicle has been checked over by a member of staff on return, providing everything is fine with the vehicle/hire we can give you the £200 deposit cash back. Please note payment for the hire itself must be paid by credit/debit card. I shall make sure Matt our Branch Manager sees your review.

“GREAT SERVICE AND ATTENTION. We booked a tail lift box van to move house, and needed to change the date. This was done over the phone with zero hassle and no extra cost. Be aware there is no parking on site at Gillingham if you wish to leave your car. Van was new and clean. There was also flexibility on the pick up and return times. Nothing negative to say.”

“Great service. I booked online a week before I needed the van, paid for it, had confirmation same day. Popped in to confirm everything was in place a couple of days before (I always like to double check) and the staff were very helpful. Van was fine, staff a pleasure to deal with. Left keys in safe as instructed because they were closed when I dropped off the van. Would definitely recommend.”
