“I paid $70 for the Verizon unlocking iPhone service in 2 payments-so the price looks cheap to start with then the company requests a further payment which we paid. The process was supposed to take 1-5 business days to unlock the phone remotely. 3 days later the process tracking ( so called) showed 99% complete with the unlocking imminent. I contacted the company on July 22 who stated the unlock should complete anytime. I was then emailed by the company saying that the unlock could not complete due to the fact the phone was a AT&T iPhone and not Verizon. The company issued me with a credit not for 50% of the fee I paid. I emailed the company back and advised that I actually purchased the iPhone from Verizon.
Basically the company steal money from customers with no intention of unlocking anything.”
Hello,
Thank you for reaching out and for your honest feedback. I understand your frustration with the situation regarding the unlock process for your iPhone 13 Mini.
Firstly, I want to assure you that our intention is to provide a reliable service and not to cause any inconvenience to our customers. According to our records, you have made two payments—a £19.99 Eligibility Check and a £36.50 Standard Unlock to unlock your iPhone from Verizon USA. It's concerning to hear that there was a mix-up with the network provider information.
Our team prioritizes accurate checks to ensure that we can unlock the correct network, and it seems there might have been an error in identifying your network as AT&T instead of Verizon. I apologize for any confusion this has caused.
I see that you were issued a credit note for 50% of the fee you paid. While I understand the disappointment, kindly note that credit notes can be used against any sim unlocking service we provide, as per our refund policy. This might not be the solution you were hoping for, but it's a way to salvage the situation without a complete loss.
Since the unlock was not successful due to the network discrepancy, and since you have confirmed your iPhone is indeed from Verizon, we would like to investigate this matter further and resolve it to your satisfaction.
Could you please provide us with the IMEI number of your device so we can look into the issue more closely? Rest assured, we are committed to ensuring that your experience with us ends positively.
Thank you for your patience and understanding.
Kind regards,
[Your Name]
“It's been almost a month and no luck, and the horrible thing about it is that they don't give refunds if the unlock is "delayed". Promised 3-7 and now it's been almost a month and I can't get a refund? Someone needs to sue this company.”
Hello Yasmine,
Thank you for reaching out, and I'm sorry to hear about the delays you've experienced with your unlock request. I understand how frustrating this situation must be for you. Our delivery times are estimated based on previous unlocks and are intended as guidelines. While uncommon, delays can happen due to various factors beyond our control.
As per our terms (section 6.1 and 6.2), all prices and delivery times are as quoted, and these delivery times are variables that can change without notice. Nonetheless, we always aim to keep our customers informed about any changes.
I see that you've mentioned you haven't been able to get a refund. Our refund policy (section 7) highlights specific situations in which refunds or credit notes are issued. For example, if your order has been refunded once already as suggested by your "Already Refunded" status, then according to our policy, that would be consistent with the terms you agreed upon at the time of purchase.
However, I would like to help make this right for you. If your Samsung Galaxy A20 from Verizon USA isn't prompting for an unlock code with a non-Verizon SIM card, then a Remote USB Unlock, which is a separate service, might be required. It seems this might be the next step to unlocking your device, and we'd be happy to assist you with this process.
We value your business and would like to offer you the best possible solution moving forward. If you would like to proceed with a Remote USB Unlock or if there's any other assistance we can provide, please let us know. We're here to help you achieve a successful unlock for your device.
Warm regards,
Charlotte
“PLEASE AVOID. Absolute scammers. Fell for it it in May, nothing actioned, very believable but please don't use them. £50 out of pocket and nothing done, emails from "Tom" seem very legitimate but are most definitely not. Disgusting how these people continue to get away with it ! Reported to Action Fraud and bank and under review.”
Hello,
Thank you for taking the time to share your concerns, and I'm truly sorry to hear about the frustration you've experienced with our service. While I understand that your situation didn't meet your expectations, I would like to assure you that we aim to provide a legitimate and effective unlocking service.
Your review indicates that you were refunded the payments for both the Eligibility Check and the Standard Unlock. Even though the services have not led to an unlocked device, according to our terms, the refunds were provided in adherence to our policies.
While there are indeed cases were refunds are issued as credits for future services, it appears your case met refund criteria and the funds have been returned accordingly.
We value your feedback and would love another chance to help you with your unlocking needs. Should you decide to give us another try or have any other questions, we'll do our best to assist you.
Warm regards,
Charlotte
Thank you for your feedback, and I'm sorry to hear about your concerns regarding the payment process. To clarify, there are indeed two separate payments in our unlocking process: an Eligibility check first, followed by an Unlocking Payment, as stated on our website. All costs are outlined on the checkout page before any purchase is completed to ensure our customers are fully informed.
If your status is 'awaiting payment', it means that the initial eligibility check has been completed, and the next step is to proceed with the unlocking payment to continue with the service.
We value your experience and are here to assist you with any further information you need to make the process as smooth as possible. Don't hesitate to get in touch with us via Live Support on your tracking page for any assistance or if you have additional queries regarding your order.
We hope to resolve any issues you may have and convert this experience into a positive one.
Hello,
I'm really sorry to hear about the delay with your unlock service. It's certainly not the experience we want you to have. Delivery times are indeed guidelines that can vary due to a number of factors, but a month does seem excessive. To assist you effectively, could you provide me with your order number or IMEI so I can check the status for you? In the meantime, please be assured we're committed to resolving this and will keep you informed throughout the process.
If you haven't already, I'd recommend using the Live Support feature on your tracking page so we can look into this right away and expedite a solution for you.

Hello Kevin,
I'm very sorry to hear about the frustration you've been experiencing. I would like to reassure you that your unlock process is 99% complete and should be resolved imminently. Our team works diligently to meet the guidelines set, and while delivery times can vary, please rest assured we are committed to completing your request. If there are any changes or updates, we will notify you right away.
If there is anything specific you're concerned about or if there's more we can do to assist you while your order is in process, please don't hesitate to reach out.
Best regards,
Charlotte
“Made one payment followed by charge for a 2nd payment - about $53 all in everything. Promises are easily made - results apparently not so easily delivered. Had a 99% success reported within a week but has not finished the process and the device is still not usable after now two month. The answers I am getting from"Tim" are apparently automated replies and I have little doubt at this point, my payments were nothing more than donations to lying thugs. Of course no refund could be retrieved either.”
Hello,
I'm really sorry to hear about the delay and any confusion caused by the communications you've received. I completely understand your frustration when things don’t go as expected. I assure you that we aim to provide clear and transparent service, as outlined in our terms and conditions.
Regarding the payments, the initial amount covers the eligibility check, and the second charge is for the unlocking payment, as detailed during the checkout process. We strive to unlock devices as efficiently as possible, and while we maintain a high success rate, delays can sometimes occur due to factors beyond our control.
If you've been informed that the process has a 99% success rate but has not been completed, it's possible that your order may require further attention. Our team would certainly want to address this, ensure the process is completed satisfactorily, and improve your experience.
To look into this matter specifically and provide you with accurate assistance, we'd need to review your order details. Could you please provide the IMEI number associated with your order? This will allow us to locate your transaction and assess the current status.
You mentioned automated replies from "Tim"—we'd like to investigate this further and provide you with personalized support. We value your business and don't want you to feel unheard. If you prefer direct assistance, do use the Live Support option available on your tracking page, and our team will be eager to help sort this out.
Once again, I apologize for any inconvenience you've faced, and I hope we can resolve this for you promptly.
Kind regards,
Charlotte
“What's worse is that they have a dirty agreement with Trust Pilot. I left a negative review there. All of a sudden I'm sent emails by Trust Pilot asking me for uploads and all of that. This is absolutely absurd. Look, we all know our phones are locked. We would NOT be coming to a phone unlock service if we knew that we would be paying first for them to tell us our damn phones are locked. The screens they show are also not the ones you see. This is such a scam and I don't know how it can be going on this day and age.”
Dear valued customer,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We sincerely apologize if our service has not met your expectations. We understand your frustration regarding the process and we aim to provide complete transparency during every step of our services.
Regarding the eligibility check, it is an essential part of our unlocking process to ensure we can provide you the correct and functioning unlock method. This step confirms whether your phone can be unlocked and determines the right service for your device, whether it's a Standard or a Premium Service. We outline all costs on the checkout page before any payment is made, including the eligibility check and subsequent unlocking payment if applicable.
Please rest assured that honesty and customer satisfaction are core values of our business. If you have not already completed the unlocking process due to concerns about additional payments, I encourage you to visit your tracking page and consider continuing with the process. We are committed to helping you unlock your device successfully.
If you need further assistance with your order status or have additional concerns, we kindly ask for your IMEI number so we can provide you with specific information and support. You can also reach out via Live Support on your tracking page for prompt assistance.
We value your patronage and hope to resolve any issues swiftly to your satisfaction.
Warm regards,
Charlotte
Hi there,
I'm sorry to hear that you're unhappy with the service. It's certainly not our intention to make anyone feel that way. Could you please elaborate on the issues you encountered? Your feedback is important, and we want to make sure we address any concerns you may have. If you could also provide your IMEI number, we can take a closer look at your order and better assist you. Should you require immediate assistance, don't hesitate to use the Live Support on your tracking page so we can resolve your problem as efficiently as possible.
Looking forward to hearing from you soon and hoping we can turn your experience around.
Best regards,

“scam web site i have paid $50 dollars to unlock an iphone. phone didnt get unlocked and they didnt give me refund and asked me to pay again to unlock the phone SCAM SCAM DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY, THEY DONT HAVE CUSTOMER SERVICE TO HELP”
Hello,
I'm really sorry to hear you've had a frustrating experience. I'd like to help clarify the situation and address your concerns. Our service involves a two-step process for unlocking phones: first, an Eligibility Check, followed by the actual Unlocking Payment, as you've mentioned.
If your iPhone wasn't unlocked, there might be various reasons for this, as highlighted in our terms and conditions, and depending on the issue, it might be covered by our refund policy. I'd love to assist you further and see exactly what went wrong, but for that, I'll need your IMEI to find your order and see how we can help.
If you haven't provided your IMEI number yet, this is crucial for us to identify your specific case. Please use the Live Support feature on your tracking page, so we can ensure your problem is resolved as efficiently as possible.
We strive to make our unlocking process as transparent and customer-friendly as possible, and I'm here to ensure you have a positive experience with us.
Best regards,
Charlotte
“I don’t like leaving bad reviews. (Honestly)
But there are other companies that handle this process much much better. (That’s just the truth.)
No hard feelings, but I am out of $30 at no fault of my own. I understand the policy (Cancellation Rights...pre-orders and checking costs cannot be refunded because costs are incurred and checks begin immediately upon placing your order. By clicking Credit/Debit Payment you wish for the order to be commenced immediately)
But the model as a whole is VERY misleading. I’m biting the loss, but it is what it is. I went to The Unlocking Company and everything was handled (successfully) same day, with extra attention on updates/progress throughout the entire process. (I was told by Direct Unlocks, after my card was charged by the way, that it could take up to two weeks to hear back…)
Please take my review seriously. Spend your money elsewhere. I’m sure they are decent people at Direct Unlocks, but their model is sub-par at best. To me, it seems like a cop-out to blame it on the “carrier” when another competitor of theirs was able to complete my request same day.
Again, I am not trying to come off as brutal, I’m just giving the full details of my experience with Direct Unlocks.
Brian,”
Hello Brian,
Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. I'm sorry to hear that your experience with us didn't meet your expectations. It's certainly important for us that all our customers leave with a positive impression, so I truly appreciate your honest review.
I understand you've found the process to be misleading, and that is concerning to us. We strive to provide transparent information at every step, including our costs and the time frames, which are outlined on our website and during the checkout process. The time it takes to unlock a phone can vary due to a number of factors that are often outside of our direct control, such as the specifics of the carrier's unlocking criteria and processing times.
While I'm glad to hear that you were able to have your phone unlocked on the same day with another service, this can sometimes be the case depending on the unique situation with each unlock request.
Your mention of the model being misleading is something we will take on board and look into, as it's our aim for every aspect of our service to be as clear and straightforward as possible for our customers.
Since I don't have your IMEI or order reference, I'm unable to review your specific order details right now. However, I want to ensure we do everything possible to make things right for you within our policy guidelines, so I'd encourage you to use the Live Support on your tracking page. Our team would be more than willing to assist you further and address any concerns you may have.
Thank you again for your feedback, Brian. It's important to us, as it helps us improve our service.
Kind regards,
Charlotte
“Hi All:
The above website site is a scam website. I emailed my phone's IME to them on 7/4/2022 and requested them to unlock for me and paid for the stage of payment. The unlocking fee is one and half the cost of the phone. I waited for 5 days and did a follow email and not reply. On 22/4/2022 I emailed them and requested a refund. I believe they will not email me.; Please just be careful they just scam your money
I wonder where can I report and not to get other to step into this scam company”
Hello,
I'm sorry to hear you've had a poor experience. I'd like to assist you in resolving this issue, but without your IMEI number, it's challenging to address your specific concerns. Please submit your IMEI through your tracking page, or get in touch with our Live Support, so we can locate your order and assist you further.
Regarding the process, it’s important to note that all costs associated with our services are outlined on the checkout page prior to purchase, including the Eligibility check, followed by the Unlocking Payment.
If you're experiencing a longer-than-expected wait or lack of communication, please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused. Our aim is to provide efficient service, and we would like to get this resolved for you promptly.
If you still wish to request a refund, our Refund Policy provides a clear outline under what circumstances a refund will be issued. Please refer to those terms to understand if your situation qualifies. Remember, we are here to help guide you through the process and to ensure your satisfaction without issue.
For cases that do not qualify for a refund as per our policy, we still desire to assist you and would urge you to contact us so we can work towards a positive resolution.
We value the opportunity to rectify this situation and hope to hear from you soon to help ensure a better experience.
Best regards,
Charlotte
Hi Shanelle,
I'm sorry to hear that you're unhappy with the service you've received. I understand the frustration you might be feeling if things aren't working as expected. I can see from our records that your Samsung Galaxy S10 unlocking process is 99% complete and should be finalized very soon. Our team is working hard to ensure that your phone is unlocked from the WORLDWIDE NETWORK.
Your order status, "In Process," indicates that we are in the final stages, and we aim to successfully complete it without further delays. If your phone doesn’t ask for an unlocking code, this could mean that a Remote USB Unlock is necessary. The costs for any service were outlined on the checkout page before purchase, ensuring full transparency.
In the unlikely event that our unlock attempt using the code fails, our refund policy does cover this scenario, as well as other specifics outlined in the documents provided. However, if the unlock service is successful but a code prompt does not appear due to the nature of the phone, we offer the option of a Remote USB Unlock to resolve this.
We appreciate your patience and are here to support you in this last stretch of the unlocking process.
Best Wishes,
Charlotte
Hello,
I'm sorry to hear about your dissatisfaction with the unlocking service. Delays can be incredibly frustrating, and I do apologize for the inconvenience you've experienced. We certainly aim to complete all orders in a timely manner, and it sounds like yours has taken longer than expected.
To help you, I'll need to locate your order in our system. If you could please provide the IMEI of the device you're trying to unlock, I'll be able to check the current status of your unlocking process. Also, remember to use the Live Support feature on your tracking page; our support team is there to assist you and keep you informed about your order.
Thanks for reaching out, and we hope to resolve this matter to your satisfaction as quickly as possible.
Best regards,
Charlotte
“This company is a scam. They will tell you that you will receive your unlock in 24 hours, then after they take your money they tell you it will take 5 days, then after that they tell you they can't unlock your phone and refuse to refund your money but tell you if you send them even more money they will offer a premium service to unlock your phone. SCAM AND FRAUD Artists. UK based SCAMMERS.”
Hello,
I'm really sorry to hear about the frustrating experience you've had. Our aim is to provide clear and accurate time frames for our services, and we apologize if there has been any misunderstanding in this case.
As outlined in our terms (section 1.1), our service of sourcing and supplying an unlock solution begins once payment is received, and delivery times provided are guidelines based on past unlocks, rather than guaranteed times. Sometimes, due to factors beyond our control, these can increase which we understand can be disappointing.
Regarding refunds, our policy ensures that if certain criteria are met, refunds are indeed processed (section 7 of the terms). If the initial service fails and you're eligible for a premium unlock attempt that also fails, you would be refunded for both services (section 7.9).
If you could please provide your IMEI or Order Reference Number, I would gladly look into your case personally and ensure we do everything possible to resolve the situation satisfactorily. We value your business and would appreciate the opportunity to rectify any issues.
Best regards,
Charlotte
“This has been going on now since 10th January this year that’s four months that’s not good enough, no one should have to wait that long for a service to unlock a phone, I would like a full refund as you aren’t providing a service for me I’m not getting what I’ve paid for.
This is bad costumer service, I’m not saying you’re ripping me off but it’s starting to feel like it, I’m sorry but that’s how I’m feeling about this situation.”
Hello Wayne,
Thank you for reaching out, and I completely understand your concern regarding the time it has taken to unlock your iPhone SE 2020. I assure you that our intention is to provide you with the service you've paid for, and I'm sorry to hear that the process has not met your expectations.
As of now, it seems that you have paid for the Eligibility Check which is £4.00, and the next step is to proceed with the Unlocking Payment. According to the information provided, if your phone passes the eligibility criteria, this payment will enable us to move forward with the unlocking process. I want to reassure you that the costs are outlined clearly on the checkout page before purchase, ensuring transparency in our service.
I'd like to encourage you to proceed with the unlocking process, as the additional payment would allow us to potentially complete the service. As per our terms, the Eligibility Check fee is non-refundable as we've already provided that service (7.3 of the terms and conditions). Additionally, it is understood from our refund policy that should the unlocking attempt ultimately not succeed due to falling within eligible scenarios, you will be refunded (7.9 of the terms and conditions).
We truly value your business and are here to support you through this process. I'm confident that once complete, you will be satisfied with the freedom an unlocked phone provides.
Thank you for your patience and understanding, Wayne. We're looking forward to resolving this for you.
Best regards,
Charlotte
“I am now 10 weeks waiting. The so called timer has been at 99% for 7 weeks and says imminent. I received 3 or 4 standard mechanical email responses that it should happen soon, but they are meaningless and useless. Now I receive no response to my emails to explain, complete or refund. Also now the “timer” is back to 10 days. One other warning to anyone in the US, when my two credit card payments were made to the UK I got charged a $10 wire transfer fee on each so in total have paid $99 and got nothing.”
Hello,
Thank you for reaching out, and I apologize for the frustration you've been experiencing with the delay in unlocking your phone. I understand how important it is for you to get this resolved, and I'm here to help.
Regarding the timeframe, I see that our service delivery times are guidelines and can vary due to various factors. However, waiting 10 weeks is certainly longer than expected, and the 99% timer issue should have been addressed. I assure you that we appreciate your patience and would like to look into this for you as soon as possible.
Regarding the additional charges incurred due to the payment being processed in the UK, I understand that may have come as a surprise and I apologize for any inconvenience this has caused. For future reference, please note that international transaction fees are determined by your bank's policies when dealing with overseas payments.
To better assist you, could you please provide us with your order number or the IMEI of your phone? With this information, we can review your order's status directly and expedite a solution for you. Without these details, it's challenging to access your specific case and provide a conclusive response.
Please also consider using the Live Support feature on your tracking page, as our team can provide you with real-time assistance and help resolve your issue promptly.
We're here to ensure your experience is a positive one, and we'll do our utmost to address your concerns and provide a satisfactory resolution.
Best regards,
Charlotte
“"6 hour unlocks" Yeah, right. I'm still sitting here 3 days later, more than $60 sunk into it, and still can't use my phone. They don't tell you how much it is going to cost until you get to the point of putting in your payment method, just over $30. Then, you get an e-mail saying that your IMEI is eligible for being unlocked, but you need to pay another $30 for it. The numbers are in pounds, not dollars, so you really don't know for sure until it shows up in your account. Total BS.”
Hello Karen,
Thank you for taking the time to write a review, and I'm sorry to hear that your experience hasn't been as quick as expected. Our unlocks typically are very swift, but occasionally, there are delays that can extend the process beyond our guideline times, and I appreciate that this can be frustrating.
Regarding the payments, I can assure you that all costs are outlined on the checkout page prior to any purchases being made, ensuring full transparency. For your order, you've already paid £23.99 for the Eligibility Check, and the £22.00 for the Standard Unlock was refunded to you, as per our policies.
Please remember that the initial Eligibility Check is a necessary step to ensure your ZTE K87CC can be unlocked from the WORLDWIDE NETWORK, and it's great news that your IMEI is eligible. Though your order is marked as "Already Refunded," I would like to encourage you to take the next step and continue the unlocking process so you can enjoy the freedom of using your phone on any network.
We're here to support you through the completion of your service. If you need any further assistance or have any more questions, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
Best wishes,
SCAM AND FRAUD ARTISTS.”
Hello,
Thank you for taking the time to express your concerns. I'm truly sorry to hear that your experience hasn't met your expectations.
Our unlocking service timeframes are based on estimates provided as guidelines, and we strive to complete them as promptly as possible. According to our terms, "any timeframes stated are a calculation of the previous weeks unlocks and are given as a guideline, NOT a guarantee." Sometimes, unforeseen delays can occur, which regrettably affects how quickly we can deliver our services.
Regarding your comments on the premium service, this option is offered in some cases where the standard service might not be able to unlock the phone due to certain criteria not being met. Any initial payments for standard services are contributions towards the costs incurred for the eligibility checks and attempts made to unlock your phone, as detailed in our terms and conditions under the 'Cancellation' and 'Refund Policy' sections.
Your concerns are important to us, and we would like to address them directly. To assist you further, could you kindly provide the IMEI number of your device through our Live Support on your tracking page? This will help us locate your order and understand the specifics of the situation so we can find a resolution.
Thank you for your patience, and we're looking forward to assisting you further.
Best regards,
Charlotte
“If I could leave less than a star I would. They said the item was stolen, it wasn't. I managed to get the old owner to unlock the apple watch. I sent proof of purchase, me buying it from the seller and the sellers receipt from buying it from the store. Proof I managed to unlock the item! And suddenly no contact from Tim to issue me a refund. Liars and scammers. Use someone else.”
Hello,
I'm truly sorry to hear about the frustration you've experienced. I appreciate the time you've taken to provide feedback and would love to help resolve any issues. Your efforts in resolving the unlock situation with the previous owner are commendable, and I understand that you're looking for closure regarding your refund.
In order to look into this matter further and provide you with specific assistance, I kindly request the IMEI of the Apple Watch. Without it, it's challenging to address your concerns accurately. Having this information will allow me to ensure we follow the appropriate steps according to our Refund Policy.
Additionally, I would encourage you to use the Live Support feature on your tracking page to connect with one of our agents who can guide you through the process and discuss the details of your situation.
We value your business and our goal is to provide a resolution that leaves you satisfied with our service. Please reach out with your IMEI so we can move forward with assisting you.
Best regards,
Charlotte
