“The service from direct fireplaces was outstanding, I had a question before purchase which was answered in full so I knew the fireplace would fit perfectly where I wanted it to go with minimal hassle. The fire itself is fantastic and I am so pleased with it. The only feedback I would leave would be about the courier. I was told I would get an email when the fire was dispatched but the e-mail advising dispatch was sent the day after I received the item. That wasn’t so bad except the fire arrived when I was out and it was just left on my doorstep, I usually go in and out via the back so it was only by chance I saw it. It was in plain view so anyone could have taken it plus if it had been raining it would have got wet and possibly damaged. One of the emails said check for damage before the courier goes but I was unable to do this as I never saw them. Despite having a sign saying this way up the item was left upside down. I was nervous when I opened it but it had been packed so well it was fine. It wouldn’t stop me from ordering again in the future.”

“Good product (twin wall flue parts). I wasn't quite sure what parts I needed but the helpline was very good. And they refunded a couple of parts I didn't use when I sent them back.”

“The service was excellent. We had been supplied with a faulty coal which was caused by a fault with the manufacturer and not Direct fires but the issue was resolved by Direct Fireplaces very efficiently and professionally. We would certainly use again.”

“Ordering very easy, delivery in reasonable time, but the carrier was perhaps not the best (are any?); the parcel was flat in the van (no restraints) and was delivered to the door upside down. Despite its rough journey nothing was found damaged, however, on fitting, two small brackets and one coal was absent (no fault of DF). On phoning DF, the lady assured me that those parts would be sent on, and today, just three days later, they arrived. Overall a competent and prompt service.”
