“I was hesitant to buy an electric fire online as I usually prefer to see before buying, but my local shops only contained a few examples. I was astonished to see how many fires were available on the Direct Fireplace website, from expensive to low cost and actually had a good shortlist of 5 fires from which to choose. The fire was in stock too, and could be delivered within the week. And indeed it was. The delivery drivers were extremely helpful and kept me appraised of their arrival times. Thanks guys. When I finally got the fire out of its packaging and in its rightful place in the lounge it just looked PERFECT !! I really LOVE IT !! Everyone who has been to see it also likes it immensely. It's so stylish and just exactly what I wanted.”

“The order process went very smoothly and the delivery time was much less than predicted. The only problem was the fitter noticed that the front corner of the fire had been damaged in transit when he opened the box. He was able to straighten out the damage and since it would be covered by the trim, he went ahead with the fitting. Fire looks good and is working well.”

“I came across Direct while looking for a fireplace for a friend of mine. I saw the fireplace in the showroom and liked it for myself and went ahead and bought it and am very happy with my purchase and the delivery. I was able to fit it myself and all is fine. Thank you Bernard.”

“very horrible people to deal with tried to rip me off on price for a part which was in advert cheaper. stay away, also didn't inform me the part was not any longer available. until i phoned them to ask 3 weeks after.”

The fireplace had been damaged in transit and although I was a bit anxious about reporting this, and what the outcome would be, Mike was professional, efficient and so helpful. He organised a replacement, which was delivered promptly. He restored my faith in buying online... I love my fireplace and would buy from Direct Fireplaces again.”

“The ordering was very good and quick but delivery was a shambles. The driver and one other weren’t very friendly or helpful. I am a pensioner and on my own so trying to move the fireplace and unpack it was very difficult but eventually managed it to find it was very badly damaged, I emailed straight away and a pick up was arranged but I had to repack it which was not easy at all and managed eventually to pack it & hope it is secure enough.”
