“From ordering over the telephone to delivery the service was excellent. Once the fire was unpacked I was so pleased to see clear, well written installation instructions. A far cry from the previous fire we had purchased - from a completely different supplier.”

“Excellent customer service from Mike. The fireplace had been damaged in transit and although I was a bit anxious about reporting this, and what the outcome would be, Mike was professional, efficient and so helpful. He organised a replacement, which was delivered promptly. He restored my faith in buying online... I love my fireplace and would buy from Direct Fireplaces again.”

“The ordering was very good and quick but delivery was a shambles. The driver and one other weren’t very friendly or helpful. I am a pensioner and on my own so trying to move the fireplace and unpack it was very difficult but eventually managed it to find it was very badly damaged, I emailed straight away and a pick up was arranged but I had to repack it which was not easy at all and managed eventually to pack it & hope it is secure enough.”

“Ok service. Item was delayed from supplier and I had to phone them to get updates, rather than them providing me with updates. Had to wait 3 months for the item. When delivered we were not given a date or time and I was actually away at the time, so it was just dumped on my drive!!”

“I was generally pleased, but the delivery men said they did not unpack or take away the cardboard packaging. This despite the fact that I was required to sign a delivery note to say that the fireplace had been unpacked. I was left to unpack the item & will have to get assistance to do so because of the weight of the fireplace.”

“Fire looks lovely, only slight problem with the bottom plate that covers the ignition button. It has small clips on there but they don’t seem to fit anywhere, but if you put it at an angle it seems ok.”

“Absolutely fantastic experience. Delivered faster than expected, friendly drivers, love the fireplace. Haven’t put the central heating up since I started using the flame only., mind you the heater-works extremely well as I have tried it. Of course psychological but all the same makes my home lovely and comfortable. Highly recommend.”
