“At the Third attempt my order was finally delivered however to the wrong address fortunately my neighbour from 5 doors away where the item was delivered to by the power of Google was able to find me. Was promised delivery on Three occasions like I say the 3rd attempt the fire I ordered more by luck than judgement found it's way to me, when I contacted the company regarding the no shows of the First Two deliveries although apologetic they seemed intent on passing the buck to the delivery company. Overall disappointing”

Hi Tom, Thanks for your review. We were sorry to hear of the issues experienced with the delivery. On this occasion, the chosen item was shipped directly from the supplier with a 3rd party courier. While issues with delay or misdelivery are thankfully very rare, they can and do happen on occasion. “I am very pleased with my fire. At first only half of it was delivered, I think mainly due to the courier, Nick Gadman was very helpful ,both during a phone call and later via email, and sorted my problems very quickly and kept me informed as to what was happening.”

“Very pleased with their speedy delivery of our fire, which is proving to be very efficient. The quality is very good but have found the coals extremely difficult to fit in. The diagram in the instructions isn’t clear enough.”

These do have a very specific arrangement required so as not to block the gas burners, so can be a bit fiddly by design. “This company were quick, good and very efficient. The only point was we were expecting the fire in a minimum of two to three days. It came in one day! Causing us a bit of bother. A very good company”

“Ordered a new fire and fire surround set. Looks beautiful and when a delivery hitch occurred the company went the extra mile to ensure it was delivered on time. Would highly recommend this company. Great choice of stock and sizes for all budgets and knowledgeable about their products.”

“Hello - operationally, the fire is first class. The remote is excellent with 3 visible buttons for the important functions. The other more advanced functions are cleverly hidden below a sliding cover. 2 small drawbacks:- 1. logs do not look like logs when the fire is off - they are pure white and remind me of a broken up skeleton !! 2. Magnets that retain the front facias - as they are black (same colour as fire) it was only luck that we found them located behind the fire. Surely it would be better to locate them in the white cardboard box where all the other loose items are located.”

“Order was made for two fireplaces. Took over a week to find out that only 1 was in stock, which came as a result of chasing several times. Repeated claims of 'will call you back' but never did. Eventually changed one of the fire places and constantly had to chase for a delivery date. These just arrived randomly on different days without any prior warning. Overall made over 18 calls, plus emails. Just hard work”

“Ordered the thistle fireplace tiles & absolutely love them! For a hand finish the quality is outstanding. The colour & the detail is beautiful. Brand new but somehow managing to also look a touch antique. Delivery was rapid & all tiles arrived in pristine condition. VERY well packaged. Highly recommend!”
