Easy to order but then received no indication of when the item would be available to organise delivery. It took 2 telephone calls and an email from me before I received the information I needed, way beyond the estimated timescale that the website suggested. The item received seems to be good quality but unable to confirm until it is fitted. This has been delayed due to the poor communication from this company.

Hi Emma, Thanks for your review. We were sorry to hear of the issue experienced with delivery. The item purchased from us is generally available within 10-15 working days, and we can see that our Dispatch team advised in an email on the 16/10/23 that the supplier was recommending receipt to our warehouse in approx. 2-3 weeks. We appreciate that it took slightly longer than anticipated for the suite to be received and we are sorry for any inconvenience. This being said, it is a very busy time of year for heating appliance sales and we do try and stress where necessary that any lead times are approximate and subject to slight variation. Our Dispatch team did their best to keep you informed of lead times based upon the best available information at any given stage in the process, including contact to book in the final delivery once we had receipt of the fire. Easy order process and delivered within a few days as promised (although with a different provider to the one sent in the confirmation email - it just turned up with no forewarning which day/time and left on doorstep!)

We try and advise where necessary that some items are shipped directly from the supplier to the customer. An email was sent to you on the 8/11/23 advising that 'we would like to confirm that your order has been dispatched via our parcel company DPD and will be with you on the next working day. You will receive a text message and/or an email from them to confirm the delivery time and from there you can reply directly to amend the delivery date/address or advise them a safe place to leave the item'. We can only apologise on behalf of the courier if instructions or expectations for delivery were not met and appreciate your feedback regarding this. Beautiful fireplace. Really finished off the room. Easy to assemble but did not come with brackets to attach it to the wall.

We can see that our Dispatch team contacted you on the 7/11/23 to advise that delivery for the new order would be within 5-7 working days. The supplier has also advised that the fire was dispatched for delivery on the 16/11/23. Purchase in showroom was easy and smooth. We were giver an estimated delivery of three weeks. It was delivered in two weeks. We were kept 'in the loop' during the two weeks. Delivery was also on time. We have not yet had a opportunity to inspect the delivered fire place in detail but, a cursory look suggests that it is in excellent condition. Currently due to be installed on Friday (two days time).

The fire now installed is just what we wanted and produces enough heat for our room. We are delighted with the appearance and performance of the inset fireplace. I was disappointed at the delivery time, which was stated on the web page as 3-5 days, actually was 13 days and with no explanation it came in two packages on different days. The fire being replaced had ceased to function so the delay was most inconvenient.

I ordered a fire and the. Inset dimension was Wrong my husband had cut the plug off To wire into the spur then when we tried to fit it it was 15 Mm to big with no allowance for the power cable I rang a few times and was told they would get back to me and still. Have not heard anything I am really dissaponted with the service I have recieved or lack or service

While this is thankfully very rare, our suppliers do sometimes change specifications for the fires without notice which can then lead to our website being out of date. This has been sent through to the web team to make amendments. Regarding the issue with the power cable, we're sure that you can appreciate that suppliers would generally be unable to accept returns where the fire has been damaged or modified. Our Customer Service team is currently looking into this matter to try and assist, and will endeavour to provide further information as soon as they can.
