Lovely looking electric fire, easy to fit into existing fireplace, choice of crystals, pepples or logs included in price, remote included easy to set-up.

The service was excellent. The true test of service is how complaints are handled, Direct Fireplaces have to have 5 stars. There was a small issue with my order, they responded immediately sending out replacements within 48 hours. The overall product quality is superb.

I was very disappointed with the delivery leadtime. I specifically asked the sales person about it and he said no more than 2 weeks at the moment. It was closer to 5 weeks. I rang customer services many times chasing delivery, which had apparently gone missing on route to them or lost in their warehouse, and was not happy that they didn’t call back when they said they would.

The lead time for this particular model would have been accurate at the time of ordering, and as advised by the sales team. While infrequent, there can sometimes be issues on the part of our supplier and/or the delivery courier which may cause delay, as appears to have been the case in this instance. We can see from the notes on this order that our customer service team worked to resolve the matter as quickly as they could, once made aware of the issue. Great service, order delivered within 3 days of order, a few damaged parts, emailed pics over to customer services, 3 days later replacement parts sent no question or quibble, would 100% recommend.

There was a good selection of fireplaces. I purchased a Pureglow Stretton in Oak, it is a good match for my furniture so very pleased with my purchase. Delivery as promised, the fire surround was well packed.

I wish you had picked up on the fact that I ordered an inset fire when the installl checker should have picked up that it wasn't suitable ?

The chosen fire is sold online as the Blenheim Chrome Inset Electric Fire; the product listing specifies that this includes a "built-in spacer [which] allows for easy installation against a flat wall with a 60mm rebate or a fully recessed installation with a 156mm depth requirement". As we're sure you can appreciate, we are Direct Fireplaces are primarily responsible for the supply of goods. While we can advise upon and help arrange local fitting, and while our sales team will always try and assist to the best of our ability in recommending products, we can't always account for every aspect of existing fixtures until inspected by the customer or an installer. This is the third time we have purchased a fireplace from Direct. Each time it has been delivered on the day notified, has been left where we have requested ready for installation and has been perfect when put in position. Can't ask for more than that from any supplier. The cost saving compared to local providers is a huge bonus.

I found the product I was looking for on the website and completing the order was straight forward and quickly acknowledged. The product was dispatched but unfortunately seemed to be delayed with the carrier who failed to alert either us or Direct Fireplaces of the problem. When it did arrive one box was quite badly damaged. In the other box the contents (nicluding a glass fire front) had come loose in the packaging. It was a wonder no damage had been caused to the actual contents.
