“Excellent service, would use again. One suggestion...you never mentioned that you would put a title on the cd. I had titled my VHS tape "wedding". If I had known I would have mentioned who's wedding it was. Minor issue”

“It took around 3/4 weeks to get 8mm tape converted but I am so pleased with the result which is much better than i expected. Lovely memories captured that had been stored away for 50 years are now on a memory stick so that the family can watch together.”

“Brilliant service and finished product from digital converters. I sent a 34year old vhs tape of the 1987 FA cup final not expecting too much but the result exceeded my expectations. It was a birthday surprise for my husband and he was delighted to be able to watch the match again after so long. The flash drive was back within a week. Couldn't fault the product or the service.”

“Excellent service from start to finish. Delighted to have my precious recordings taken off the original cassettes and safely stored on discs and USB device. Process took less than 3 weeks in total. Easy to follow instructions on how to send tapes etc. Reasonable price...money well spent indeed!”

“I needed a camcorder video of Funk and Soul 70s underground party in 1996 of sentimental value, converted and returned to me on a USB stick, you can only imagine my disappointment when what i received was someone's Ruby wedding anniversary party!! I immediately called and was met with an apology, no poor attitude or being defensive and here's whats important, the matter was rectified in 30 minutes of my call when i was sent the correct video via email and dropbox and i was very happy with that, but then unknown to me, I checked my bank account and my money had been refunded! which i really didnt expect but i am grateful for and have to say that say people and businesses make mistakes but the way Digital Convertors dealt with this was fantastic, I am now going to look for old VHS tapes i need converting to digital. Thank you for your excellent customer service response.”

“Excellent, friendly and highly professional team. Did a great job of converting our 35yr old 8mm reels to digital. Good quality and a nice choice of music too. Quick turnaround time and kept me informed of progress. Used the courier collection service which was prompt and good value for money.”

“Was generally pleased with the results. The first reel of my daughter as a toddler was too dark and I couldn’t change the contrast. The editing was fine although you couldn’t have known the chronological order of reels. The reel of my brother getting into a car was in a strange order. The individual scenes were very short due to the photographers! Would rate 3.5 stars. Thank you”

Hi Jenifer, Thanks for the feedback, and apologies for the issues you're finding with the quality! Could you let us know which reels were too dark? We'll take a look and might be able to adjust it for you. Although this can't be guaranteed, as it is possible due to the film being underexposed (which is caused by the original filming). “I found 33 old 35mm slides that I wanted to digitise. Digital Convertors' website gives clear pricing information - there prices are good too - and it was easy to pay for my order. DC emailed me when they had received my slides, and again when when the order was complete - quickly - and my slides and the digital files on a USB stick were on their way back Overall, an excellent service.”

Hi Michelle, Sorry to hear you were disappointed with the service! I've had a look at the backups we have and the quality seems to be very typical of any VHS transfer without any video distortion. Having said this, we do operate a satisfaction guarantee and are more than happy to get the tape back in to re-transfer and see if there is something we can do to improve it further.
