“Digital Computers did what they said converted old films and Videos onto a stick lot better for storage. Suggest that if you have many to be done try a couple first to see the quality which in most cases was good.”

“Making copies took quite a long time. After about 4 weeks received items. I had to contact DC after a couple of weeks to check on progress. Some issues making copies to firestick. Did get resolved. It would be useful if DC provided "packet/wallet" to keep and idetify firesticks"”

“This is the second time I've used digital converters. on both occasions they have been excellent. I posted very precious old cine film and it was returned fairly quickly on a memory stick. This time I posted them off and they were returned to me in a week. Excellent service. Thank you”

“Very easy to deal with, kept me informed all the way about the progress of the job. Only disappointment was, and I should have done my homework, so they cannot be blamed, I thought the videos I sent were going to be digitally enhanced. They were sent on a cd and returned on a stick, but I had already downloaded the videos to my pc years ago and the ones I sent off came back exactly the same as I already had.”

“Well pleased with the service. Was kept well informed of progress. The only reason I give a 4 star and not 5 is because the first set of conversions were mirrored. Having said that as soonas I pointed it out I was quickly provided with a corrected set with no quibble.”

“A quick turnaround and good quality conversion of slides, cine film and a video. The resulting files all fitted onto one USB stick however, when placing the order, you're charged for one USB for each type of media which seems a bit steep. I also didn't receive an email telling me the media was arriving back with a summary of the conversion quality. The music on the cine films is dire, very doom laden, so will need to see how I can replace it.”

“I sent 4 videos to be transferred onto usb. All transferred ok, my only bugbear is not being able to skip some frames like I'd be able to fast forward on the video tape or a film which I'm a little disappointed with. I assumed I'd be able to. The quality of the recordings aren't fabulous but that's 1980/'90s video recorders, can't change the quality of the pictures. The usb is as the video recording. Other than that, all ok.”

“Unsure of the technicalities here, but given all footage was shot on an HD 1080 resolution camcorder, I feel a little dissapointed in the resulting image when viewed on a 24" monitor. I've been searching for a 'Quality' button as per YouTube because it looks more like 480. Any advise would be very welcome. Turnaround took a little longer than expected, but having said that we are talking 56 hours worth of converting. The method of tracking progress was really helpful. Always kept well informed at every stage of the process. In addition to 2x memory sticks, I also purchased Cloud storage which is great but a little surprising that it is subject to an annual fee as opposed to a 1-off. By and large I'm very pleased with the service provided.”

“Prompt and well priced. Good communications. My media was 20 years old so I wasn’t expecting the final quality to be fantastic but I was really pleased. The editing wasn’t perfect as there were big gaps between different bits of action and it seemed out of sequence. It was great to have my memories back!”
