“I was initially a little anxious about sending off 29 reels of 8mm cine films containing many family memories from 30 years ago, but I need not have worried. They are now all safely digitally available to view and to share at any time. The process was all carefully explained and professionally handled. “I sent 3 old VHS tapes to Digital Converters and had them digitised and saved to the Cloud. The recordings were originally from a VHS camera so they were quite amateur and the quality wasn't great but I was very pleased with the results of the conversion. From one of the tapes I only wanted a 9 minute excerpt from over an hour's recording. Digital Converters can do this for you for a small extra fee but they suggested I use the 'Snippet tool' on their website to extract the 9 minutes I really wanted and this worked perfectly! The bottom line is that I'm very happy with my new Cloud based recordings and it allows me to email or WhatsApp them to my daughters who live a long way from me and don't even possess a VCR!”
