“Very disappointed to find that paying for next day delivery doesn’t mean next day delivery. If you read the very small print right at the bottom of all the Ts and Cs you’ll find that after they’ve made up the delivery which will take 2-3 days they then ship it next day. Not what I paid for at all and not what I’ve ever experienced from any other company. Definitely feel I was conned there.”

“I recently bought a lovely scarf which I thought would make some great lampshades. Having never made any before I searched online and found the Dannells website. I decided to go big to start with - a 60cm drum shade - and I am very pleased with it. I have also made two matching lampshades for my bedside tables from the remainder of the scarf and I still have enough fabric left for a second 60cm shade, which I will be making when the new ring set and panel arrive tomorrow. I watched the "how to" video - which was easy to follow and I am still a bit surprised at how well they turned out. I would warn against using delicate fabrics that fray easily (my scarf fabric did) but the video does mention this. My only mini gripe is that delivery takes a bit too long and I would much prefer having the option of Royal Mail delivery DPD for all of my purchases (not just the smaller items) as the DPD costs are double that of Royal Mail. The delivery timescale for my 3 orders to date: 5 days, 8 days and 6 days.”

“Oh, Dannell's what have you done to me! I love all your things and stuff and bits and bobs. What started as a quick peek has turned into a very expensive obsession! The videos are invaluable when learning how to make things. I am a huge fan and just wish I had an endless pot of money! I love making lampshades with your fantastic products. Thank you.
