Sadly the ones I ordered were too small for my Grandaughter although I did look at your chart. It wasn’t very clear about sizing She loved the boots so I will try a larger size.

The manufacturers all work to different sizing standards and we publish their sizing charts to try to help you get the correct size but are aware that this does not guarantee a perfect fit. Dance Direct always has the best quality items and a wide variety, however they often miss basic but necessary items, like basic tank leotards that cover everything. They almost always have either a scoop neck or back. They could also have wider variety of sizes to be more inclusive.

I don’t have an issue with DD but the item we purchased (shimmer tights) were not great quality and laddered on their first outing. I won’t buy them again.

Really disappointed. I'd ordered a size 6, and although it stated 6 on the shoes they were more like a size 5 if that.

Ordering was quick, but no Returns form included with items received. Not always possible to print at home, therefore delay in returning goods. Major makes now have worse manufacturing which means sizing and fit is still very difficult to predict and 'true-sizing' is not actually accurate as stated. Leather is skimped on in shoes.

If you are unable to print out the returns form please list the items being returned along with your name and address and invoice number on separate piece of paper. As far as the sizing issues are concerned as manufacturers all work to different sizing standards we publish their sizing charts to try to help you get the correct size but are aware that this does not guarantee a perfect fit.

Response to questions is quite slow. Asked for advice for size of taps required and was given incorrect advice so have had to return pack and now await replacement. Incidentally, the size is on the underside of the taps when we removed them to try and fit new ones - it would have made life easier and saved time if customer service knew that!!!

We ordered adult xs bra top but was far too small so had to return and reordered adult s this is quite small as well but we keeping it as think m may be too large.

The strawberry practice ballroom dress I ordered was lovely quality but came up very small. The age 12 for 140 cms came up very small even though she is a quite petite just turned 10 years old and not 135 cms. Shame.

Product is lovely and the delivery was on time. I ordered through top cashback and the cashback was declined though so very disappointed about this as I did everything I should and paid £58 for the item so this isn't great!!

Sorry to hear that your order has not yet arrived with you. We dispatched it within 72 hours of receipt, but Royal Mail strikes have caused the delivery of your parcel to be delayed. You can track your parcel on the Royal Mail website.

We are sorry that you did not like the leotard. Nylon Lycra is not a thick fabric and as this style is not lined it does tend to be see through. Please feel free to return it for a full refund.

Although not a fault of Direct Dance a provision should have been made for delivery and Royal Mail postal strikes. To wait 11 days for a delivery is unacceptable nowadays.

We are sorry that the parcel took so long to arrive. We despatched it within 72 hours of receipt but Royal Mail delays outside of our control meant it was not delivered until the 28th. We have put a message on the delivery section of the checkout about the strikes and offer an upgrade if required.
