“I spent ages thinking of taking this course, I wasn't sure I was going to be able to do it -one of the reasons being that English is not my first language, and I was fearful that the language was going to be too technical. As soon as I started, I realised how easy it was to navigate the site, how well it is divided into manageable chunks, and how easy to use (I am not a tech person). Also, the teachers, admin team, and support team are very responsive; they don't leave you hanging, so the whole process has been smooth from start to finish. What I particularly loved is that you can attend the live lessons if you need, but if you have a life that is too busy, you can also go through the recorded sessions to fit your schedule and then ask for support. Thank you so much to the team and to Mrs Morgan, I have been dreaming of opening up my school for years, and now I can finally give it a go!”

“I feel like the support in obtaining this qualification did not match what was set out within the expectations. I tried to get support with little luck and resulted in a delay.
At times assignments weren’t marked within timescales set out and feedback was not always constructive.
The QR code for feedback ideally would include a link too for easier access from a computer.”

“The course was well organised and the online portal was very easy to navigate. I am currently an apprentice mentor and the content of the course taught me many new skills that I can use to support my work based learners. The mix of assignments, work books and practical teaching was great, and the amount of self-reflection made me think about my own practice and how to improve it. CTC were supportive an approachable. Angela my tutor marked my work quickly and gave some lovely positive feedback which motivated me to complete as quickly as I could. “This course was a great introduction to training and education.
The structure was great to follow. Initially i was having moderate troubles with attaching and sending off my work.
I was given a personal tutor who was great in supporting me Lillian Alexander was very supportive, knowledgeable and enthusiastic thank you very much.
The course was well-organized, with regular workshops where you could ask questions and get support. No question was irrelevant.
I particularly enjoyed the micro teach. While I found the assignments challenging at times, I felt they helped me to deepen my understanding, knowledge and confident in teaching and using the techniques /models that is suitable for me. Overall, I would highly recommend this course to anyone interested in training and further their education. I have already recommenced this course to some of my colleagues. Absolutely wonderful course to do in your spare time. We never stop learning this course makes me learn and enjoyed learning again.

“I really enjoyed completing this course and learned so much! It's not easy, but if you complete all the digital learning, and watch the previously recorded virtual workshops before completing each of the units then you definitely will be able to smash it! I completed the course in just under a year but I did really take my time with completing each section as I was not in a rush to complete so you can complete this at a pace that suits you. Angela was very helpful and provided quality feedback for each piece of work that was graded (which was marked quicker than expected!) and provided guidance to help me progress through. Angela was also contactable through the message function on the portal when required. I liked the relevant YouTube video links within the content and further reading you could do that was embedded within the digital learning. I also joined the Facebook group which was helpful for me to interact with and motivate other learners completing the same course. I would definitely recommend this to others! Thankyou again, and I'm looking forward to applying what I've learnt in real life.”
