“The level 3 TQUK for teaching was by far the most boring and frustrating course I have ever completed The work was reading boring out dated PDF articles and watching videos that had terrible sound and then write assignments on what you read. Nothing what so ever to do with teaching. We are told that we need to show variety in our teaching methods, assessments methods, evaluations on every single thing yet the course itself is the same thing over and over again. Read an article Write and assignment Tedious, repetitive and boring. All I leant is that I do not want to go into teaching or do any further qualifications in that field. Waste of money and time”

Through the thousands of learners we have put through this course, we have found those who engaged with our full offering of support offering including our unit workshops and direct support via teams, tend to get the most from the course instead of trying to obtain the minimum to pass. We are dedicated to providing quality training and understand that this experience did not meet our high standards. Going forward, we will work on making sure these support paths are pointed out to learners more clearly and can provide a more interactive learning environment for those who prefer this learning style. “My experience with CTC was great! I did my course level 3 (PTLLS) a while back now(2019). I can honestly say I received the course content promptly and Chris was a great support and responded quickly to questions I had. I had never done an online course prior to this so I was a little apprehensive. The course was straightforward to follow if you put the effort in. Submitting work was easy to do, feedback was usually very quick. I completed my course so quickly within 3 months and I was also working full time as cabin crew. I would have no hesitation doing another course through CTC, it’s great value for money and the team were supportive. In short it did what it said on the can!”

“I have not yet finished my AET Level 3 but I wanted to write a review at this point to encourage anyone who may be thinking about taking this qualification with CTC Training to go for it! Firstly, what a great price for a professional course and qualification. The material is easy to follow and support is only an email away if you feel you need it. If you feel able to move forward without any support you can just move through the assessments fitting them in with your own life and commitments. The feedback provided is informative and motivational highlighting what you have done well and also indicating other factors that could have been included in your answers, therefore enhancing your learning. I personally found the 250 word limit difficult on some answers particularly when there was a lot to cover in the question. To date I have had the most contact with Kelly Morgan via online video call and email. Kelly is helpful, informative and pleasant and I would not hesitate in recommending this course to others. So, if you haven't signed up yet...just go for it!”

“In order to start a new career within my sector, I needed to study Level 3 teaching and education. After some time away from study, I was fairly daunted. However, the tutors are extremely supportive and helpful. In particular, Kelly, who took the time to ensure that I was confident in what I was doing. Highly recommend.”

“What an incredible experience with so much help along the way. Having dyslexia, I really struggle sometimes with academic work but the support was outstanding, thank you Kelly Morgan for your guidance and kindness and also to the rest of the team. This course really helped me dig deep and get a better understanding of what a teacher role entails. I am now qualified and I am excited to put everything I have learnt over the past few months into practice.”

“Just want to thank Kelly Morgan for her support, I have passed my level 3 AET. For those who are battling through, stick with it & don't be afraid to ask for support or of the feedback, I've learned loads and managed to pass in 6 weeks. Go through all the modules and upload as you go, some took few weeks to come back & be marked, some days. Angela & Chris thank you for your feedback & support just to wait for my certificate but uploaded my ID so should be few days. Again thanks team for getting me through, here's to my next adventure in teaching 😊”

“Great price for the course and the systems were ok. Courses weren’t marked in tbe 3 days as advertised. The feedback given helped me pass this but it was impossible to try to get an appointment to speak to an Assessor.”

“Absolutely terrible company, DO NOT BOTHER, you try your hardest to complete the module with no direct support from your “tutor” but then get nocked back every single assignment you submit they give you one thing to change, you change it and re submit then it takes them 6 weeks to re look at it to then say you have to change something completely different. Oh and on top that they insinuate that you have used AI to complete some of your questions. AVOID WITH ALL COSTS! You won’t ever receive the qualification. Their excuse is “ under staffed “. DO NOT TAKE PEOPLES MONEY IF YOU CANT STICK TO YOUR TIMELINE GIVEN! As This is FRAUDULENT INFORMATION! Given to take peoples money and rip them off!”

Hi Jade, thank you for taking the time to let us know about your experience with CTC Training. Based on some of the statements you have made throughout the review, we have investigated this internally and feel the need to come back to you on a few of the points you have made. Firstly in regard to the failed assignments, we use a tool at our business to check for AI-generated content. Unfortunately, we are seeing a rise in people using these types of tools to generate submissions. This is easily detectable and we simply will not accept these types of submissions, which was sadly the case for yours. It is obviously against the guidelines of our awarding body and more to the point, completely defeats the objective of taking the qualification, to learn and develop as individuals. In regards to marking time, there was a period across the Easter break where we had many staff away on holidays where some assignments were not marked in our normal timeframe (around a week), but this was very much a temporary issue caused mostly by the bank holidays. We are happy to say that we now have 3 new staff hires to help cope with this seasonal demand! Thank you,

“total scam original i was signed up on to a course through an organisation that then refused to pay for it, ctc were contacted within a month of payment and refused to refund me so i did the cousre any way as to not waist money through the course i received no contact from any trainers, no support what so ever. upon sendign in my coursework i got a generic unhelpful answer from the assessor who marked it and rather than assisting me to complete the course got told i had faild to complete the course within the time limit, after i had been locked out of my account for 10 months and got no suport with coursework the whole course seemes to be set up to boost sales of a book and not actually teach anyone anything. its a total scam”

Hello, Thanks for taking the time to leave this review. We are always keen to gather feedback to further improve our services to all learners. In this case, given the nature of this review, we have looked into this internally and feel the need to come back to you on a few of the points you have made. Firstly, in regard to our refund policy, we are always able to provide refunds if the request is made within the cancellation period. If an organisation paid for this course on your behalf, we may not have been able to provide you yourself with a direct refund but would have been happy to provide this to the original payment provider. You highlighted issues with feedback on assignments and we were very concerned to see this comment and so felt the need to check through this to check the quality of this. This is an area we truly value, invest in heavily as a business and want to ensure is kept of the highest of standards for all learners. We feel these comments are extremely unfair given that there was over two pages worth of feedback on your original assignments. Not one aspect of which was generic, but instead helpful pointers that guide you through the course in detail. The assessor went through every one of your answers on a point-by-point basis to help. In regards to access to the course. As standard, you are given 12-month access to the course. We extended this multiple times for you in order to complete this free of charge. You originally signed up in 2020, it is now 2023. Lastly, just regarding the comment you have made regarding a scam to push you to buy a book, this could not be further from the truth. We have had thousands of learners go on to complete their qualifications and advance their careers without ever needing to purchase the textbook we offer. We simply offer this at point of sale for anyone who feels like they would prefer the option alongside the many online materials we provide, but it is by no means mandatory and made very clear. This has only been made available in the last couple of months. All the best, CTC Training

“I am highly pleased and satisfied with CTC Training & Development's Level 5 DET course. My tutor, Craig Evans, was very helpful and supportive in giving advice and quick with feedback. I will always be infinitely grateful to all the staff for always supporting and encouraging me, even though it took me so long to complete the course - due to my personal difficulties, they were always helpful and were always willing to support and encourage me to continue the assignments. Whenever I have written to Chris or Craig, they have always promptly replied providing me with useful strategies and suggesting the best way to move forward. Living in Italy the procedures are a bit different than in the UK, nevertheless they have always been able to advise me. The platform is user-friendly and easy to use, and you can always monitor your progress easily and immediately. The cost of the course is competitive and worth all the value of the people and materials behind it. One can see the tremendous commitment, work, dedication and seriousness behind this company! I will truly always be grateful to all the staff for leading me to success in this certification, which will open up further job opportunities for me - not only in Italy, but also in the UK. My dream comes true.”

“Always apprehensive about online training, this one is great. The setup is easy to use, the materials provided is excellent and the support is there (I managed with just the feedback from my submissions but I know that if I needed extra support it was there). Thank you so much to Chris for the feedback and helping me to improve myself. Only slight criticism was sometimes the grading seemed to take a while but I completely understand that sometimes there can be a backlog. I am seriously tempted to take the level 5 with this company they were that good.”
