Great service and really user friendly - especially for people like myself with littleton no understanding of accountancy! It's great having personal accountant you can always call. Only small thing is I find the swebite has glitches from time to time.

I have been using Crunch since 2012, and cannot recommend their services highly enough. Their staff are always patient and willing to help, providing a fantastic level of support for both their website/tools and tax/accounting-related issues. Nothing is ever too much trouble, and it is such a relief to be able to rely on their expertise. I think their service represents incredible value for money, and I am very thankful that they were recommended to me when I was starting up my company.

As a business we have dealt with Crunch for over 3 years and they have been an absolute joy to deal with. More specifically in the past 6 months I have had to deal with Amelia in the Support Team regarding a number of issues and to say she has been patient is an understatement. Amelia has been an absolute dream to work with and would be a credit to any business lucky enough to employ her!

I've used Crunch for 2 years. We've gone from a startup to an established profitable business and they have helped me with everything technical and numerical around the accounting process along the way. Andy - Director @ Digital Vision Search

Have just started my first company and signed up with them. It could not have been made more simple. I'm yet to use the software or interact with their client services or my accountant but from a set up and on boarding perspective they are excellent.and I would highly recommend them.

I've been with these guys since the beginning. The concept they had in the 'early days' was a good one, and the service received was tolerable (albeit wrong advice sometimes). Now they are more money orientated, and actually getting any resolution to any problem (usually caused by them or their software) is a major headache. There are additional charges for everything. Their 'system' seems to have zero intelligence, and you are regularly bombarded by what only can be considered as spam. Apart from the regular email warnings you get ie "you will be fined if you don't do this" despite the fact you have done what you are being warned about. And their 'home' screen does the same. When you have done something, you should not keep receiving warning messages that give you cause for concern. Often with 3/4/5 days notice. Not good guys... Its a shame that this has gone this way, as after all, the initial concept was a very good idea.

Hi Winston, I'm extremely sorry to hear you have concerns that our service has declined. I want to thank you for taking the time to provide this feedback and give you my personal assurances that I will be investigating in full. I will be in touch personally to see if I can offer some reassurance and hopefully firm resolution. Warm regards Andy Tyrrell Client Experience Manager

Crunch is a simple but highly effective tool which saves you time and money. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and always ready to answer your questions. I would highly recommend their services and would have used them sooner had I known how good they are.

Don't use Crunch. They bring so little to the table. Get a professional accountant for a much more reasonable price. Speak to other small businesses and start ups online about their accountants. The additional charges are a joke, they actually charge for an accounting review! shocking. The advice they do offer is poor and usually quite slow. Don't bother with crunch. They are expensive, slow & spammy - you can even see with the reviews on here how much they push a 'free month with every referral' - I have better things to be doing than their marketing (also, I value my reputation too much to recommend this nightmare to anyone). Of all the ball-aches I've had in the first year of starting my own business, Crunch has been a consistent top 3. Find a professional accountant and use them. Avoid Crunch at all costs.

I can honestly say that Crunch have provided some of the best, responsive and friendliest customer support I've experienced. My personal client manager is extremely patient with my ongoing barrage of questions, always has a prompt and comprehensible answer, and has been a huge part of making setting and running up my company less scary and understandable. The Crunch web system is very well thought out - akin to online banking. It puts the power and functionality in your hands as opposed to everything requiring authorisation/verification from the accountant - but, they are always there when you need them to chat or email. In my opinion this service is much more desirable than a traditional accountant, and half the price. This is how accountancy should be done in 2016 :)

I had a ton of questions today and Adam King was very clear and concise when guiding me through our hour long phone call. He showed patience and gave relevant actions and advice which was much needed. I now have a list of 7 action items to do which helps me not only feel like I am on top of my accounts, but also that I'm not blinded by too much information that I didn't need. Thanks Adam.

I knew nothing about tax when signed up to crunch. I now a lot more as I've had to learn as they do nothing for you unless you ask. They dont advise you. stick to a good old fashioned accountant. you'll save more money in the long run as well.

Potentially an outstanding service but they are consistently let down by an unwillingness to listen to users and implement even small development changes. Couple of examples: I pay VAT by direct debit. I have no control over when this money leaves my account, but every quarter I get an email telling me my payment is late. This email is of no interest and is frankly spam. HMRC takes the payment and the payments are made on time. Can I opt out of this spam by telling crunch I pay by direct debit? No. Have they implemented this change MANY YEARS after being requested? No. Why not? 5 minute change. Other example, they have a timeline feature that reminds me of my birthday, my FORMER employees birthdays and they cannot remove birthdays from my corporate timeline. Guys, this isn't facebook. Stop this nonsense immediately. I don't need accountancy software reminding me of the birthdays of people who left the company 6 years ago. The software also isn't scalable. If you've been with crunch for a while you will see an ever increasing list of people you can pay bills too. I hired a flat in 2010 and they are still on the list. Can they be removed? no. Can they be archived? no. Can they be hidden? no. So the list just keeps on growing. Simple UI changes that would make a huge difference. Considering leaving unless they invest in better software.

The key differentiator is the high quality support from the people behind the screens. Mostly things just hum along, but when you need help Crunch are there and between the account managers and the accountants you get answers and solutions very quickly.

Very polite but I felt they provided poor advice. Having now moved to another accountant I have had to spend alot of time trying to figure out what was and wasnt done. I also found that the advice given was sometimes unclear, this led to a great deal of confusion. In the end a small accountancy firm has been far better at explaining to me what I need to.

Hi there, Thank you for taking the time to provide some insight into your experiences with our service. I'm very sorry that you feel our advice was unclear in places and caused confusion. We pride ourselves on keeping our advice as clear and consistent as possible and it forms one of our core values which our clients enjoy as we don't try to complicate accountancy issues. To help with this we have hundreds of support articles and video libraries along with a personal Client Manager and a team of accountants to help support your needs. These are part of our core service and our advice is unlimited, so should there have been any concerns over what occurred we would have been on hand to review at no additional cost. Our records show that you chose to leave our service within 3 months of joining as you needed a face to face accountant. At this point you were in arrears and we were about to end our arrangement. Please get in touch if you would like to discuss your experience in more detail. Many thanks

Dealt with Crunch for a few years now. Always ready to help and if they don't know the answer they will investigate and get back to you. Have dealt with Laura Salmon for the past year and a bit, always find her advice logical, easy to follow and within the criteria with which I like to operate my business. Great working relationship with her and she's prepared to go the extra mile when investigating or discussing issues. Overall and for a for a cash in/out business like mine they have been ideal. Crunch are very good value compared to others that I have tried. Recommended...

Wrongly advised by Crunch to pay out a large sum of money and it's now been over a year that i have been trying to get it back. Crunch continue to lie about deadlines and want nothing to do with giving my money back - horrible company.

Hi there, Thank you for your feedback and I'm sorry that you feel we've caused significant loss. I'd like to comment and say that we've been liaising directly with HMRC to retrieve the penalty notice issued in. We have also provided clear instructions and next steps on how to resolve this. As we're no longer your agent, your direct involvement is needed and have sent letters to you to then sign and forward on to HMRC in order to retrieve the funds. We have consistently said that we would cover any costs should HMRC not rescind the penalty - HMRC confirmed that they are happy to refund the payment and they are waiting on your response. I understand the process has been lengthy and we appreciate that the situation has been far from ideal. We look forward to having this resolved as quickly as possible, Kind regards
