“"We have been on many cruises and other holiday experiences and I like to think that I can get the best deal after exhaustive internet research. But not only did I get the best deal for our chosen cruise from Cruise Direct but, upon telephoning to check a few details, I had the pleasure of speaking to a clearly knowledgeable agent, Rob Goodburn, who seemed genuinely determined to assist in every way he could. And without the pushy sales agent patter which so infuriates me. I see that Rob has been commended by other reviewers, so this is further testament to his customer handling skills. In the past I have often booked with US cruise brokers who, when the exchange rate was better, anyway, were generally able to offer the cheapest prices; but with the downside that they all seem to be hard-wired into trying to get you to go for cabin upgrades, beverage packages, excursions and so forth. No more! How refreshing to deal with a company and an individual who not only offer keen and transparent pricing but who also seem genuinely interested in making the customer happy with both the purchase and the buying experience. I will most definitely be a returning customer.”

“I was very impressed with the service I received from Rob Goodburn today. He listened to my enquiry, nothing was too much trouble. He kept me up to date with his progress whilst he was waiting to get through to the cruise line. He was very thorough with the enquiry, suggesting better placed cabins, to reduce noise etc. The prices with cruise direct are very competitive and I came away with a holiday booked at a price that was very pleasing. It was a pleasure speaking to Rob and at no stage did I feel pressured to make any decisions. I think this was the best service from a cruise agent I have had over the years. Would definitely look to book again with the quality and friendliness of the service I received today. Thanks Rob.”
