“Having twice given Courier Expert the exact size and weight of the thing to be shipped, and twice getting the same price, I was staggered, once I'd paid to get a phone call from the manager asking for alot more money. When I asked for an immediate refund they told me it could take up to 3 days to get my funds back. Won't be using them again.”

Hi David, I'm sorry your not happy with your recent experience, I would however like to offer our side of the story. When you first contacted us, you asked for a quote for a midi van with a 2 meter load space, no complications were mentioned to us at that stage. The next day, when you came back to accept the quote, while we were taking the booking and payment details, you added another requirement, our understanding was that you wanted a vehicle with a lifting tailgate (basically that's a hatchback as opposed to twin barn doors) the call handler said she should be able to source one. However, we later discovered that there was a mix up in the conversation, the call handler had misunderstood you, it turned out you actually wanted a van with a 'tail lift', which is normally used to lift heavy pallets onto a vehicle. So we offered you an alternative quote for that type of vehicle, which you rejected. We subsequently agreed a full refund, which we actioned immediately. If the payment took 3 days to get back to you, that could be down to the processing time of the bank/credit card provider. We returned your payment as fast as we were able to. Once again, we are sorry this wasn't handled better on our side, we will learn from the experience.

“This was a major job stopper and from start to finish Courier Expert Performed really well. Costs were very reasonable once payment had been procced the Driver was on his way and I had regular updates on his position. Once the package was picked up I could track progress all the way. The driver had an estimated time of arrival and was well within that time which ensured that a document was sent on time.”
