“Unlike most other web sites the prices quoted are per person and not per room - an expensive mistake as I could have got a deal cheaper from the hotel direct. My mistake and I won't make it twice! If it looks too good a deal to be true, then it probably is.”

While our initial prices are shown as "per person per stay (based on two sharing)", once you have clicked on the "Book now" button the total price per room (or per reservation, if booking multiple rooms) is shown as the "Total booking price". This price shows on each subsequent page and is again confirmed before you are prompted to confirm your reservation by entering your payment information. “The room I booked was advertised as available, however once booked and paid got follow up email being told that it's not longer available and ended up paying £40 extra for an upgrade Thanks Monica”

“We have been on a few Country Hotel Breaks and have found them excellent, which is why we have now booked another one for November. The food in the restaurants has been very very good and we have had an upgrade on the room a couple of times.”

We do charge a small service fee to go towards the cost of providing excellent customer service which we know is so important to our customers. Our reservation agents are available 7 days a week, until 10 pm, to provide assistance both before and after a booking has been made. Whatever the service fee, we offer a price match guarantee which means that even including the charge we guarantee best value and best service. Unlike many other companies we include our fees in the headline price making the full cost of the hotel stay clear at the outset so there are no hidden charges.
