“Contacted Country Hotels to confirm a booking at The Quay Deganwy. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. My booking was taken with no fuss and an e mail confirmation was received within a few minutes. A few minutes later I decided to upgrade our room. I contacted Country Hotel Breaks again and the staff sorted it for me with no fuss. All confirmed a few moments later. Brilliant Thank You.”

“I found it easy to view hotels and dates etc however I was unable to access the extra filters on the mobile site which allowed a search for 1 adult and 1 child. I am also confused how the dinner for two allowance for £50 works as nothing has been mentioned since booking. The laptop site is very good and easy to use. One thing I would like to add is I sent two emails a fortnight ago from my works email asking if children are allowed and I never received a response. I emailed two separate addresses and it’s disappointing to not even get a reply”

“Theheadquarter staff were excellent and very helpful BUT the Internet email activation simply did not function and all booking completion was denied access u til we went via headquarters on the telephone. This would have led to a lot of frustration and a loss of bookings if clients hadn't had the initiative to follow other avenues. Hence the reduction of score from an otherwise full 5 star.”

“I found this company by chance when I searched for Country House Hotels. Gosh, what a treasure trove! I found it to be an excellent resource of just the sort of thing I was looking for. The site is easy to use and I was able to compare several hotels before making a decision. I also used the Chat box which, unlike many theses days, turned out to be a real person who was very helpful. I will definitely use this site again.”

“Poor search function, don’t filter hotels with availability properly. When we eventually found a hotel with availability the site then stated it didn’t but offered the same date as an alternative so managed to book it. Wouldn’t have used the website but we had a voucher so needed to”
