“I used the site. Found a policy & a price that suited me. Went to purchase it & got a message about "underwriters not able to proceed" or something to that effect. Went to my next choice, which was a few pence cheaper. Same underwriter message? Left it until the following day. Thinking maybe a glitch in the system. Same messages appeared Called the insurer direct. They to had an issue with your site. Bought them insurance from them at the quoted price. Seems nothing to do with the underwriters, all to do with your system \ site”

“The company they quoted as best price is unobtainable except for on line , and when you try to go ahead with their insurance, Barclay card platinum will not pay the company as they are worried it might be a scam ? Tried twice”

“The principle of having a portal that compares a selection of insurers is doubtedly good although there are always some insurers that may wish to ‘go it alone’ or be part of another comparison site, so the customer still needs to spread their net sufficiently wide enough, as they wish. It would be useful when using Confused if there was notification that you’re a Nectar partner, which I was unaware of and only discovered the day after when searching for something unrelated on the Nectar app.”
