“I finally accepted the RAC Online Premier quote and went through to complete the proposal process with the insurer, who then fixed up the Direct Debit for monthly premiums and the First premium by Credit Card. Everything seemed to go through OK, but when I tried to go into myRAC account it couldn't accept my email and password to log in. After much angst I eventually managed to get a phone number and with what seemed great reluctance I was finally able to speak to a service centre who found my policy details (which was a big relief). The agent confirmed the policy number and after discussing the cause of the accident I had disclosed, seemed to enable the myRAC and I was then able to download the Cert of Insurance. If everything had gone through without a hitch I would have given you a 10, but because of the hassle I scored you 7 because you are only a quote service, and not the insurance broker I thought you are. I hope you will now give the voucher present and monthly coffee you agreed if I use your quote. Whew! Thank you.”

“I spent a considerable amount of time completing the application to obtain a quote, however each time I reached the final step, I receive a message stating that the quote is unavailable. I repeated the process several times, yet there was no clear explanation as to why the quote could not be provided. This was a waste of time and frustrating!”
