Only problem is the second car insurance at Budget was completed and filled in for my wife's insurance when it arrived I was the named policy holder and she was the named driver, it took most of the day to try to change it, my opinion it was a simple task, but spent most of the day on the phone the cost which I will pass on to yourselves regards 07801823157 professor Philip Wynne-Daniels

I was trying to renew my Wife's car insurance with Aviva. As I used my log in, it would not change the policy holder to my wife's name. Contacting Aviva on their Chat Bot was a waste of time, finding a phone number resulted in being passed around "note this department", then put back through to the switch board which advised they were now closed. I therefore cancelled the cover and requested the premium be repaid - we will stay with the existing insurance broker - although with only 2 week to go, we have not had a renewal notice, so they are not performing either

I've used Confused a few times.... and then gone direct to the suggested company and actually found a better deal. Also, very annoying... when you tick all of the 'Extras' that you require, then follow the link to your 'Offer', only to find that you have to add these again - with the price bearing no relation to the initial deal. Great to at least filter top 3 likely insurers but I'll never actually use the link, I'll always then go direct (£40 cheaper this year by going direct to the 'top' deal).

They quoted me certain price, and as I was about to finish all of a sudden, they will change the quote. Worked out in my favour anyways because I found a cheaper one and I’m glad I wasn’t insured with confused.com

My personal details were incorrect once I was forwarded to the chosen insurance provider and I couldn't update them anymore as my updates didn't register. I have access to second car but with the insurance provider it stated that I don't. I chose different compare company to get my car insurance.

Confused.com is ok mostly, but when I followed the link to find out more about two quotes I had a problem, the exact same problem on two different links, so that can't be the insurer's website or it wouldn't be the exact same problem. I checked my details before accepting the quote and then the price went up by about £85, both quotes went to £350, both from different quotes to the same £350, just by checking the details! So I tried a third link and didn't check the details, which seems a bit risky considering that I couldn't be completely sure they were correct without checking them. That time the quote stayed the same, so I accepted the offer.
