Tried 4 times to pay for car insurance, I “paid “ the premium and waited for confirmation. Next message “you are timed out”. Took a much more premium just to get things settled

As with so many of these comparison sites (but I particularly notice it with Confused), the price that comes in after you have spent time loading on your details and requirements looks great until you click through to the recommended site and realise that, to hook you in with a cheaper price, they've dropped several of the requirements you asked for and you have to load them back on and watch the price rise. It's not a bargain if it isn't what I asked for, it's a different product and you have wasted my time.

On confused website it stated 90 days cover outside uk; but then clicked on the insurance and it say to add to policy which increases the original figure on confused.com

My new quotes were years out of date, also coming up with an old address that had been changed 3 years ago. When I tried to change it, the quotes suddenly bumped up £100 extra. Free gifts and rewards are inaccessible once you buy the product. It was such hard work. I gave up and used someone else independently in the end.

Found the app confusing. I deal with all the family cars and it is confusing as your app needs a separate email address for each one. I have recently taken out two car policys and have received less reward than I would if it was on one email address. Another policy just taken out yesterday was not put through your confused system for this reason.

I entered details of three drivers and got an indication price of £210. I then clicked to be taken to the insurer's website where I had to enter the details of all three drivers again and the quote rose to £500.

Was ok to use. Quotes OK, but found better with same companies on alternative comparison sites. Found that data entered does not carry through to insurer website correctly every time. When corrected, premium increases. Needs to be used as a guide only

Each day they keep increasing. Also each company u do with send an offer a weigh higher than then the previous despite there were no claims or any issues.

I was not impressed with the tick box to let 2 insurance companies to call you. The last 5 times I have used you for quotes and some renewals.. I always refuse the call backs from insurers and every time your company ignored this and I was called by numerous insurance companies

Lots of comparison sites out there, all pretty much the same. Car insurance itself is getting far to complicated, with so many extras that were previously just included. It's getting/ is already silly

I used confused to select insurance company but then they wanted to do business online which I tried and failed but waisted 2 hrs trying to get it done including ringing there helpline which was a chat line I wanted the easiest solution for sensible money but that wasn’t available so I decided to stay where I was

Athough I had ticked to include things such as roadside assist, legal cover, windscreen protection, courtesy car the results I received, and the prices quoted jumped up when I went to the actual policy sellers site and then had to add these again with some additional costs, so the prices you show are not the prices we pay.

I am disappointed and frustrated that changes I make do not appear correctly on the newest quotes. I have to go through the complete application over and over in fear of paying only to find that the changes are missing or completely absent. Combine this with the inability to “talk” to a human makes it very difficult and time consuming. These points could be easily remedied. I WOULD BE HAPPY WITH THE POLICY IF THESE ERRORSWERE CORRECTED
