“Zero stars for recommending RAC CAR INSURANCE who charged me £25 for an insurance policy starting 3 weeks later, even though I immediately cancelled the same day I applied for the insurance. RAC did NOT make it CRYSTAL CLEAR that a non-refundable £25 would be charged for changing one's mind about taking out RAC car insurance, and that there is NO 14 day cooling off period in reality. It is very deceitful, misleading, maybe even illegal (for not allowing the customer who changed his/her mind within less than 14 days of taking out the policy and charging the customer £25 penalty charge instead under the so called guise of "Administrative Fees") to have a full refund. Do NOT take out RAC CAR INSURANCE and do NOT trust "Confused.com" which should be renamed "Confused.CON!" #RIP OF BRITAIN # RAC CAR INSURANCE # CONFUSED. CON#”

“Insurance quote was first low then went up and up and up from £214 to nearly £400 when I altered things to make it cheaper and then returning to original plan. Eg applied less mileage price went up but came back to original mileage and price went up further. Seems to be a commission based ripoff to me.”
