“Cannot replicate quotes on insurer websites when clicking on link so prices appear lower on confused.com than they actually are.”

They determine the cost based on statistics with similar details, and their rates can change frequently. To help figure out why your price has changed, please first check for these common changes: Did the payment method change from annual to monthly? Did you add or upgrade any optional extras? (e.g. add legal cover, add/upgrade breakdown cover, upgrade courtesy car to hire car) Did you upgrade the cover level? “Easy site to navigate & details are kept with a year automatically added to information from a previous quote - so no laborious filling in a form yet again, but giving the opportunity to update any differences that may have arisen over the year. Easy to upgrade to a higher level of cover from a provider.”
