“It's been more than 20 years since I have needed to shop for car insurance & I found the experience anything but straightforward. Once I had filled in the necessary details which in itself was frustrating as it needed repeating or going back over it then gave me Quotes which were not always the same as other insurance brokers despite it being the same insurance company. If you delayed in taking up the offered insurance I found that the premium was inflated when you next looked. Added to this the Quote did not add on the added extras such as Legal cover, personal injury, courtesy car or breakdown cover. This could inflate the price to nearly £100 extra. Unfortunately there is not much a consumer can do but accept that that is how it is.”
