“I'm very picky!!! The whole process of my recent carpet purchase was an experience that is a rarity these days. The staff are very knowledgeable, approachable, interested in your project and able to offer advice and suggestions. The products are wide ranging and suitable for all pockets. The organisation of fitting was efficient and built into my time frame and the extra threshold that was ordered was excellent. My fitter arrived promptly and was very personable. He was skilled and even went the extra mile when the wooden threshold was shaped to fit exactly. I am delighted with the outcome and would highly recommend this company. It's a pity there aren't more like Claytons. Absolutely first class in every respect. My thanks. Janie Smith”

“Right from the first visit to the store the sales person was very helpful and not at all pushing us anything we didn't want. Delivery seamless and 2 of the nicest men I have had the pleasure to have had in my home. Paul worked tirelessly and got the job done. All in all would 100% recommend Claytons to anyone”

“What a fantastic service we had from Claytons. Very helpful staff in showroom.....weren't pushy but gave us time to decide what we would like. The carpet fitters were brilliant....they worked well together in a quiet and professional way. They explained things to us and gave advice as needed and were polite and friendly. I would recommend Claytons and I have done already to my friends. Thank you everyone.”

“Clayton's delivered in the time slot given. John and partner introduced themselves on arrival, very polite and friendly men. John took the packing off and fitted the sofa sleeves on. Then took the packing away for us. Thank you both.”

“An outstanding and faultless service which started when I walked into the store and continued right up until the delivery was completed. Ian helped us in store and gave us sound advice and clearly knew what he was talking about and without any of the usual sales pressure I have had in other stores, he gave us the time to decide on what we wanted and made sure we were happy with our purchase. The delivery time was without any delay and the bed was delivered and built without any hassle. Will I use Clayton’s again? Absolutely, and I have already recommended them to others.”

“We bought an electric recliner armchair earlier this year which just didn't feel right when it was delivered. Although there wasn't any faults with it they couldn't have been fairer in letting us change it and it's superb. On the strength of that we have just had a sofa and armchair delivered and it's also brilliant. Smooth and friendly transactions all round, thanks to Glynis for being patient with us and delivery men, Jake and Steve, for everything.”

“Have just had our lounge and three bedrooms fitted with carpets today and we are absolutely delighted with our purchase. We cannot fault the service we received in store, the visit from the estimator, ease of ordering and today the expert fitting of the carpets by the carpet fitters. Everyone we have encountered either in person or on the phone have been both professional and friendly and we thoroughly recommend this company.”

“We have used Clayton’s for over 30 years for carpets and sofas friendly helpful and knowledgeable carpet fitters are fantastic delivery guys are personable we are awaiting new setee and carpet next week we always speak to Nigel for carpets he’s very personable and extremely helpful 13 week wait for our G-Plan sofa is ok I think as they only make to order”
