The quality of the pipes was exceptional. My only gripe is that they were supposed to be swb (760mm long) and they are the lwb (800mm long)

I have, in recent years had two previous purchases of unsatisfactory pattern speedos from other suppliers, so I was wary of whether this one might be yet another disappointment. I've not long fitted it, so It's still early days, but so far it seems to be a good one. The odometer tallies with distances over known routes ( unlike my first purchase which turned a 25 -mile commute into 28 miles) and the indicated speed matches what I expect for a given engine speed. Because it uses the same cables as the original chronometric instruments, the operation is steady. The other pattern instruments used the much thinner cables off the Enfield India bikes. If your speedo is mounted in the headlamp, it needs 3 changes of direction and the thin cables tend to whip, even when well -oiled and cause the needle to give false highs and to flutter. If you mount the instrument in a headlamp shell it is not a straightforward replacement for the chronometric clock as the cable will foul the back of the lamp due to the pattern instrument being deeper and the cable further forward, so the shell needs to be bent up at the back and down at the front to get the cable past the lamp. I didn't mind this as I'm not hung up about these modifications and had already done the necessary when I fitted the "Enfield " pattern speedo, but I would suggest that you really ought to flag up this problem, as the "tyres not the right shade of black for that year" brigade would have a hissy fit. Other than that I've no issues. A trip recorder would have been a bonus, but so far so good. I'm happy to have an instrument that gives a steady, believable reading and a properly calibrated odometer.

I purchased a vintage-type brass fuel tap and the necessary sealing washers. They arrived quickly and were well packed, and the tap is of good quality and has proved entirely satisfactory. I'll happily use Classic Bike Parts again.

Bought new fork stanchions ready for replacement. So pleased with what i received. Placed each stanchion on vee block both within roundness tolerance. Unlike the one's I bought a few years back for another project and those were sent back on 3 occasions to another retailer who have since ceased trading. The other thing I've noticed with my latest purchase the stanchions arrived vacuum sealed so they can be stored almost indefinitely.

Overall excellent, delivery was slow. And there were two parcels, which I was not made aware of. Communication from the vendor was poor. They where knowledge and helpful. Would I use them again, provided I was not in urgent need of the parts, YES The vendors courier has a policy. If you are not in they will not leave the parcel in a safe place, which will be a problem for many customers. me included.

I have been pleased with the parts I have bought from you. My only complaint is that it can take several days from ordering to receiving the parts

Easy ordering and good communication. Delivery on time. Unfortunately, the clamps on the ammeter bezel were in the wrong position. So the Ammeter was not directly suitable. Correction required. Not satisfied with a new product. Should fit without further measures...

Prefer prices to include VAT up front. No wiring diagram supplied (I know how to do it but that’s not the point). No delivery/shipping options offered. I asked for frequent Feker points to be applied, they were not.

The 'T' Lucas replica battery box was as described. Further work will be needed as it does not have the wooden shaped reinforcement in the the two 'wings' which my other Battery box (purchased 10 years ago) has. The box is very shiny and will need to be 'dulled down'. Also there is no information with this product on the clips required to hold down the lid. This Item is expensive, considering the points made above. Bob
