I have ordered from their website a few times and the site always states items are in stock, but that is hardly ever the case. They seem to order in after payment them email saying they can’t source the items. All this takes along time and you end up with most of the order missing. Waste of time!

We take product quality and customer service very seriously and your comments will be shared with the entire team at Classic Bike Parts. Regrettably we are not always able to supply the parts ordered. This is often due to the fact that the parts for classic bikes are made in small batches and although we try to keep stock on hand occasionally we have to rely on stock from our suppliers. When we are unable to manufacture or obtain the part in a reasonable timescale we always offer a refund. We understand that you have been a regular customer over the past year and from a review of your past orders it does not appear that you we have cancelled any particular items in the past - for that reason we we a little surprised by your review. If your web site claims the part is in stock then it should be in your stock. When I ‘phoned wondering if you had sent it you declared it was “in your suppliers stock” disingenuous at the least. When you announce you have dispatched the item you should have dispatched the item. You clearly had not.

Our system can only generate a tracking number when the goods have actually been packed and sent. In your case we believe that the courier may have lost the original shipment. A replacement was sent (at no cost) and we understand that this was delivered on April 25th though you have not confirmed this. Thanks again for taking the time to write a review. Recently purchased several items from you,one being a Villiers embossed gear change rubber this item was quite expensive being embossed and of a high quality so was priced accordingly. Disappointed to find you had sent a gear change rubber that was dirty and looked almost second hand and was not embossed, disappointed customer.

Was suppose to purchase a servis K81 copy 3.60 x 19 57s tire, recieved a 57P tire which is 93 mph rated tire vs 110 mph rated tire. They will accept a return but it cost more to return tire than than it cost to purchase tire. Will not gave any compensation for wrong avertistng/ sending tire with wrong rating that is a safety issue if I did not notice it. Also they stated servis does not have a K 81 copy rated 57S. I would not have purchased a 57P tire as is rating is below what my bike manifacture recomends. I loose money if I send it back and I also can not use tire.

Not very happy I'm afraid. I actually received the bulbs I ordered very quicky but not impressed at all with the packing of the items. These are fragile items but spart from the two headlight bulbs I ordered, all the others just arrived loose in boxes meant for far larger quantities There was no paper wrapped around the indevidual bulbs, and as a result,they just knocked against each other . The boxes containing the bulbs themselves were then just put in a large jiffy bag, which,during transit, resulted in the filaments in two of the bulbs (one 6v4w and one 6v21/5w) were already broken when I received the items this morning.

Item bought in good faith but was not as desired. Partly me not checking but mainly how the item was described. I wanted a 7/8 inf nut and got a tiny nut!

The part didn't fit the bike, my 1957 Triumph 5T. The mudguard was too wide to fit between the fork shrouds, I'm not blaming Classic Bike Parts, I'm sure they bought them from India in good faith.

Ordered a folding kick start and a foot of fuel pipe and a couple of hose clips. Bit disappointed as I was refunded the money on the kickstart with no message as to why and then just sent out fuel hose and clips but charged postage at the cost to send out the kickstart.

The ordering and delivery side of things went smoothly enough, unfortunately, the part I received was not fit for purpose and had to be returned which entailed the usual palaver of packaging, sorting a courier, cost etc. The refund took 4 working days.
