“Very pleased with my purchase from The Chocolate Society. I bought couverture which arrived well packaged and promptly. (Would have awarded 5*s but I was unable to use my 'New user welcome discount' to buy Valrhona so that disappointed me).”

Hi Brenda, Thank you for your review and i'm pleased the chocolate arrived quickly and was well packaged. Unfortunately we are unable to extend our 15% discount to Valrhona as we price the bags very competitively and we also offer free next day shipping on this product line, which means we simply can't offer the 15% offer on top. “I,have been a customer for several,years The Blondie Easter egg we had was good and especially the little honeycomb chocolates But in future think will only buy your boxes of chocolates as prefer them than individual items”

“The chocolate is of the highest quality. The reason for 4 rather than 5 stars is the fact that one of the Easter items ordered (a Milk Chocolate Boiled Egg) was very late in arriving (3 weeks from order to receipt) and upon receipt was found to be completely destroyed, broken into many pieces. I can hardly hand that over as an Easter gift! The packaging was woefully inadequate, with minimal protection for the egg in its plastic box.”

“I bought the honeycomb dark chocolate at the Bath Christmas market, I was not expecting too much but was pleasantly surprised! I went home and ate it all, ordered a couple more of those the next day. Highly recommended!”

“Despite the teething problems with the delivery packaging, which I hope gets sorted soon, the chocolates remain delectable and extremely moreish. The high quality is reflected in the taste and the variety adds to the expectation every month. I would highly recommend these chocolates not only as a high quality treat but also as a luxury gift.”
