“Everything went well with the order and delivery - but the box I ordered was a gift so I have yet to hear about the chocolates! She said they LOOKED good though!”

“love the choices and the service is great - one very minor product gripe...we like nuts, pralines etc so the level of fruit flavoured choices isn't tip top for us but realise you have to try and please all of the people most of the time !”

“I bought two boxes of the January selection for my sister and a friend. They seemed to like them & I've reordered the February box for my sister. However, when I was concerned that the first delivery wasn't arriving due to a holdup of some sort, I didn't receive a personal reply to my email which I found rather irritating. I think the customer service side of things could be improved. When I'd put in my next order for February I then received an email saying that I could have added free chocolate bars with a code they gave me, but it was too late by then. That was a real shame. Quality of the product seems fantastic.”

“I have signed my wife up to the monthly subscription as a birthday present and we have just had the pleasure of sampling some of the first month’s delicious delights! We have yet to be disappointed by anything that has been consumed from this month’s box. Definitely worth it! The dark chocolate and orange combination was just perfect! No complaints here about the chocolate just the wait until the next batch!!! Thank you The Chocolate Society.”

“I really like my hot chocolate shaker. It is very easy to use and clean and makes perfect hot chocolate every time. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because in the ideal world I would like it to be bigger. I have to make 1 and then make another half a container, just to fill my mug. I would still recommend it and for some people a small mug is enough.”

“Really great product, I didn’t really know what to expect from it in terms of quality and taste but I’m seriously impressed. The shaker is really easy to use and makes smooth hot chocolates every time. I have now ended up drinking hot chocs every other day!”

“Al Quite happy to give you some feedback, but we haven't really got round to consumption yet what with several kilos of Christmas pudding to work through. Just one technical matter. Think you need to refine your system a bit - we are the recipients of a gift from Linda Smith but your request addresses us as Linda and is obviously intended for the purchaser!”

Hi, Thank you for your review and sorry for the confusion regarding the name. I have had a look into this, and think I have seen the problem. The review system is completely automated by a third party software provider (www.reviews.co.uk). There are three main important parts of the order information that the review software looks at: Billing Name & Address Shipping Name & Address Email Address (Normally the purchasers email address) When a review is sent, it is sent to the name in the **billing section**, and to the **email address** which is normally the purchaser. On this particular order, Linda did not enter her email address, she used yours instead (which typically doesn't happen as customers tend not to want receipts sent to the gift recipient etc). This has meant that the name in the email and review is taken from the **billing section**, but sent to your email address. I know this probably sounds really confusing, and I apologise for that. Unfortunately as a small business with limited funds available for custom website development, we have to rely on third party software providers to provide us with affordable technology solutions, however as a result we are unable to change any part of the review software, but can assure you that 99.99% of the time, the review system works really quite well. :) I hope you enjoy the Christmas pudding and the chocolates too! “My first order, won’t be my last, the September box. Delivery was DPD and as I could rearrange the day waS convenient. The chocolates were divine absolutely love the unusual flavour combinations and beautiful colour glazes. Nice presentation box too however I have knocked one star off because not one chocolate was sat in its place. It was a good job it was me and my husband doing the sampling ;-)”
