We have been crafting fine chocolates in Dorset since 2002 with origin chocolate & local, seasonal ingredients (& no additives, preservatives or added sugar), so they are truly handmade, handpacked & delivered fresh.

“Ordered an Easter Egg and the egg was totally smashed up inside the box. It was pretty tightly wrapped so seemed as if it was wrapped that way, and the box was in perfect condition. At least the chocolate was good!”

So glad you loved the chocolate, but we're so sorry to hear that you received a broken egg. This is really sad and clearly disappointing, and certainly not how we want our lovely chocolate to arrive. Please be assured that we don't want any of our customers to be unhappy, and we'd never knowingly send out damaged items. We have used our plastic-free packaging format now for a couple of years with only a tiny number of issues which are more to do with how the eggs are handled in transit rather than the fault of the packaging. If you'd let us know about the damage, we could have sorted it out for you.

“Liked that it was plastic free packaging, taste was ok but not worth the high cost sadly. Also the egg was damaged, however this was more likely a courier issue.”

“Love this company. They innovate every year and wouldn't buy easter eggs anywhere else. My children are now adults but still love the dinosaur eggs. Also the robots are a favourite.”

“I had previously ordered from Chococo as it reminded me of the lovely area of Dorset where they come from. The chocolate is alright, nice but not at the same level that their continental equivalents (i.e. Leonidas, Venchi...) but their products are a tad different from what you find at your usual high street favourites, so that makes for a nice change. I had seen previously that they had had problems with their deliveries during the previous Royal Mail strikes, but I made the error of ordering from them for a gift for Easter 2023. Well, Easter is now over and done and I am still waiting for my product. It was meant as a gift, so I had to buy with short notice another gift to avoid disappointment. Their response is that I have to wait until 10 days after Eastern Sunday is over and they would only refund me if I refuse to receive their product, so I would be paying for the delivery costs for a product that has not been enjoyed. Obviously they will not see my business again.”

We guess that this review was written in haste as we have dealt with this matter and resolved it to your satisfaction, but we're sorry the late delivery prompted this. We should mention that our response wasn't as described here, but we understand you needed to rant.

“Fantastic eggs, beautifully made. The vegan one slightly too strong a taste for my 8 yr old son, (allergic to milk) but my daughter and I loved the milk choc one! I perfected the dark chocolate actually.”

“The Egg was bought as a present for Easter, whilst we had timely arrival and the package did not appear at all damaged unfortunately and sadly the chocolate egg inside was found to be in numerous bits! Albeit the egg chocolate tastes good as were the chocolates inside.”
