About Chococo:

We have been crafting fine chocolates in Dorset since 2002 with origin chocolate & local, seasonal ingredients (& no additives, preservatives or added sugar), so they are truly handmade, handpacked & delivered fresh.
We believe truly fresh chocolates taste better & our customers & food experts agree, as we have won over 70 fine food awards over the years for our creations including most recently, 3 World medals at the International Chocolate Awards...enjoy!

We're so glad that you think our chocolate is lovely, but we're sorry to hear that it doesn't float your boat. It's probably worth mentioning that one of the slabs you had was dark chocolate and the other contained dark chocolate, so we wouldn't have expected either of them to be overly creamy.

“Absolutely incredibly yummy chocolate. Blown away by how thick this egg was, and the layers that went into it. Knowing that the eggs are handcrafted is incredible as they look so perfect. Had a minor issue which the team quickly rectified - having a good customer service always makes the difference for me”

“The Easter chocolate eggs, shapes and hot cross bun bar were yummy. We also really like that the packaging was all paper and cardboard and therefore could be easily recycled.”

“The eggs looked beautiful, the kids loved the dinosaur fossils and the packaging was well designed. But the taste was absolutely horrendous. Kids wouldn't eat it and not even we managed much of it.”

Thank you for loving the look of our Dino egg but we're sorry to hear you didn't enjoy the chocolate. The egg is handmade with our signature 47% single origin milk chocolate which is made exclusively for Chococo in Colombia with Fino de Aroma cocoa beans for a rich, yet creamy cocoa taste with less sugar than most milk chocolates. The outer layer of the shell has a mottled egg effect which is achieved by stippling white & milk chocolate. The milk chocolate shell is then built up in layers and finally each half studded inside with mini dark & white chocolate dinosaurs & ammonites. It was winner of best Easter Egg for kids by Good Housekeeping in 2023; this is what they had to say about it: "Chococo's eggs are always a treat, with the real magic happening within the beautiful geometric shell. Mini palaeontologists will be delighted over the dinosoaurs and fossils embedded within - and we can think of a few big kids that would be equally thrilled by this too. Flavour wise, the marbling means you get the best of all worlds, with elements of milk, white & dark creamy chocolate." Sorry that it wasn't for you.

“I ordered two Easter eggs for my young nieces and they were delighted with them, I bought these because of the concept behind with the fossils and sea creatures being inside of the egg (something different) and being made in the UK. I've never heard of this brand before so thought I'd take a risk as it randomly came up as an advert through my social media. The only negative was the postage, it was unfortunately delivered to the wrong address, I did have to sort that out myself.”

Thank you for gifting Chococo. Sorry that Royal Mail mis-delivered your parcel, but presumably the photo POD helped you locate it without much difficulty as we didn't hear about a delivery issue.

“Really bland tasteless chocolate, with almost zero chocolate flavour, and an unpleasant chemical taste. Look pretty, and the honeycomb was alright, but for £14 for a small egg, incredibly disappointed. Won't ever order again”

“Delicious easter egg. Probably one of the nicest eggs I've eaten! Really lovely chocolate and the flavour of the honeycomb did infact taste of honey unlike other honeycomb I've tried. And I love that the ingredients are on the minimal side in comparison to most branded chocolate.”

“Absolutely the most beautiful, fun, and tasty chocolate eggs ever! Next time I am skipping the kids and getting one for myself... erm, I mean the Easter Bunny ;) Kids just loved the dinosaur and sea animals hidden inside - especially the ammonite! The eggs alone were gorgeous, the dark chocolate was just amazing - will definitely be shopping with Chococo again. Happy”

“I bought the Ocean egg for my daughter for Easter. It was delivered super quick with minimal but good packaging involving no plastic and she said the chocolate was delicious. I will definitely order from Chococo again.”

“Unfortunately, due to the vagaries of the Royal Mail, the order is still awaiting delivery. It arrived at the local distribution depot before Easter, but Royal Mail would not deliver to the address.”

“As a breastfeeding mum of a baby with dairy and soya allergies, the oat milk chocolate was divine! I was so sad about missing out on Easter eggs as let's face it, they're the best chocolate, but didn't feel like I missed out at all.”

Thank you for appreciating our design and how the egg was made, but we're sorry to hear that you weren't a fan of the chocolate. As you ordered two eggs and they were different types of chocolate, we're not sure which you didn't enjoy, but we will have to put this down to personal taste, and understand that whilst we have thousands of happy Chococo fans, we can't win 'em all!
