“Bought an item then cancelled it within 10 minutes. Still sent it out as nobody works weekends, wasted time and money trying to speak to anyone in customer services before the faff of sending it back at a cost, useless”

Apologies for your poor experience with us. I can see that an email requesting cancellation from you did regretfully end up in our spam folder. We do try to check this regularly, however as a very small, physical shop too, we are not always able to check every day. As you order included next-day-delivery, we processed it as quickly as possible for our dispatch team to attend to. Our store would indeed have been open on the Saturday that you placed your order, however, and we would have been more than happy to assist you over a phone call or the chat option on our website. We do apologise again for the inconvenience this caused to you. Kind regards, Charles Hobson

“Very quick delivery. Husband loves his new boots! Thank you.”

“I have no hesitation in recommending Charles Hobson Menswear. The price for the Barbour jacket I ordered was the best price I had come across in my searches online. “Purchased a Barbour coat which unfortunately had a manufacturing defect with the inner left sleeve. After contacting the store a replacement coat was checked and sent out immediately arriving the next day, along with a prepaid returns label for the first coat, making the return very simple. I cannot recommend the customer service provided highly enough. Very pleased on all counts the new coat fits perfectly. The staff were a pleasure deal with.”

“What an excellent experience! When I rang the shop the greeting was welcoming, the subsequent advice given on what size to order was considered and spot on. Even though I ordered after 2pm the delivery arrived the following day. Faultless from start to finish. Your team should be very proud.”
