“Disappointed, ordered on Thursday and paid for next day delivery. Eventually delivered on Sunday!”

Hello Mr Lineham, Unfortunately your order came in just after our cut-off time of 3pm for next working day delivery, which is when our courier collects from us (https://www.charleshobson.co.uk/shipping-returns-i5). As such, your order was rolled over onto Friday to be processed and dispatched, which should have seen it delivered with you on Monday (today) as the following working day. DPD must have worked it into their schedule to deliver your item earlier than this, which they will try to do where possible. We apologise if this was inconvenient with you, however your order was indeed processed and delivered within the timeframe stipulated by the terms on our website. “Item dispatched very quickly with free delivery. Had to order two jackets because unsure of sizing. I would normally order L but ordered both L and XL. Ended up keeping the XL and sending back the L. Refund was quick. Only downside for me was it cost me £12 to send back with recorded delivery and insurance due to price of jacket. Otherwise would have been a 5 star.”

“Very quick delivery and updates on delivery. Unfortunately as returns are not free I had to pay £26 to return my items securely, which is reflected in the rating.”

Sadly, as a small independent retailer, we are unable to stand returns but we do try to make returning items to us as easy as possible by providing an address label or address bag for you to take to your preferred carrier. “Happy with the speed of delivery and quality of what ordered but a 10% discount that was shown on the website was not applied. The item cost £145 but when code was applied it was stated that the code had already been applied. This is misleading.”

Hi Mr Down. We're sorry to hear that you feel misled by the promotion on our website. The prompt for the discount code does stipulate that the offer only applies to full priced items, as it removes the ten percent amount from the selected item's RRP. As our sale items regularly change, the code can technically be applied to any products, however no effect will show if the item is already discounted by more than ten percent. “Your firm is fine, quick delivery etc. However the shoes are two tone, sprayed dark on the front of the shoe, which makes them looking a little cheap.”

“I don't have any issues with the company or its team or at the end of the day the product which was delivered early the next day. That said, the image of the product (computerised?) whilst similar I found misleading and ended up with me buying a shirt I thought was one style and ultimately arrived with darker colour and different materials (which changes the entire concept of the shirt) to what I expected which wasnt what I initially wanted, so be careful. After some thought I've decided to keep the shirt, but would I have bought it otherwise? Not sure and so impacts how I feel about the purchase. All that said though, the quality of the shirt is still good and I'm keeping it and those close to me think it looks good, although acknowledged the difference.”

Hello, I'm so sorry if the image on our site didn't quite match the shirt in reality. We used the images provided to us by Fynch-Hatton themselves, and felt they offered an accurate enough representation of the garment to display them on our product page. Of course, we would have readily offered you a full refund if you had decided you wished to return it, but are pleased too that you are happy enough with the shirt to keep hold of it.
