“Before I purchased a Barbour Ogston Jacket from Charles Hobson, I was one of life’s losers. Women laughed at me, men shunned me and when I went to the beach, small children would kick sand in my face. My boss didn’t know who I was and my co-workers thought I was employed by another company in the building. Then I purchased Barbour Ogston Jacket from Charles Hobson and from that moment on I developed a personality and instantly became a raconteur, bon vivant and a fellow well met. I have now gone on to qualify as a Navy SEAL, a stealth fighter pilot and a Major in the SAS where I have survived countless incursions behind enemy lines. In addition, I frequently like to tread water for three consecutive days and once, single-handedly, killed a 5-meter long Cayman crocodile. In my spare time I remodel aircraft terminals with emphasis on conservational issues and I also act as a consultant on Time Management skills to the elderly and lecture on Medieval Tapestries to the infirm. More recently, I have become a renowned expert in urban hang gliding techniques, winner of bull fights in San Juan, cliff-diving competitions in Sri Lanka and spelling bees in the Kremlin. Men admire me and when women see my Ogston, they want to marry me – and yes, it’s all thanks to Charles Hobson.”

“I’ve returned the shoes as they were too big however I would’ve returned them anyway as one had clearly been worn and was badly marked on the sole, very disappointed in this and would not use this company again”

Our sincere apologies for your poor shopping experience with us, Caroline. We had only two pairs of this shoe left in our shop, both in the size that you kindly ordered. The pair you received were supposed to be limited as a shop-only sale on a discounted 'sold as seen' basis, with the scuffed sole made evident. Regretfully, it was this pair that were inadvertently sent out to you. The second pair we have are in brand new condition, and it should have been these that you received. We are sincerely sorry that you experienced this error on our part, and whilst we would love the opportunity to put it right in the future sometime, we completely understand your disinclination to shop with us again.
