Dear Chris, Thank you for taking the time to leave us feedback. I understand your Account Manager, Chris Sparkes has now been in contact to explain the current job climate and that you advised him you had received a shortage of candidate applications across all job boards and not just CharityJob. I believe Chris has advised you on some ad changes to optimise its performance and has extended the ad for you. Chris will also be giving you a follow-up call next week to discuss the ad performance at this stage. Dear Claire, I understand your Account Manager, Judith Jones did try to call you on both the 10th & 13th of June regarding suggestions on how to tweak your ad to garner more applications, but unfortunately, was not able to speak to you so left messages instead. I believe Judith has now spoken to you this morning and has extended your ad for free and tweaked the ad as suggested. These tweaks should now help to reach a bigger pool of relevant candidates. Dear Lucy, I’m sorry to hear that did not successfully manage to recruit via our job board. I understand your Account Manager, Chris Sparkes, has tried to contact you via telephone to discuss the potential reasons for your ad not performing as well as you had hoped for, but as he was unable to, he exchanged email correspondence instead. The present job market across all sectors on all job boards is currently job heavy/candidate short, along with the contract type and salary offered, which I believe were advised as potential factors in the overall ad performance. We've used Charity Job a few times now, and it's a bit expensive for the level of applications you receive from it (very little).

I can see your ad received around 2400 views and 24 clicks on apply in what is a difficult candidate market for fundraisers, but we understand how frustrating it can be when it doesn’t result in a hire. We've used CharityJob before to advertise posts and always garnered a reasonable response in terms of applications. The latest one generated one application despite over 400 views which was very disappointing. We had more responses for considerably less money via Indeed.

Not many replies to our advert. Also, as there is no option to upload a covering letter as requested, many people don't.

as a recruiter, I found it too clunky to manage, next time i'd just have link to our website, with all of our application forms on it. I understand Charity Jobs tries to push quick apply which was my mistake. If you are happy to receive applicants cv only, then its fine, anything else is an issue. Lots of applicants struggled uploading their completed documents also.

Disappointing this year compared with last year. Website confusing to me and to one keen applicant. The support from my account manager was excellent, though.

If you are asking people to pay for a service it is important that there are good quality candidates applying for the role. A near identical job ad went out 18 months ago with your platform and got 4 x more applicants on exactly the same package.

Dear Oli, it is very disappointing to hear that you did not receive the number of quality applications you were hoping for and that candidates did not follow the application instructions you clearly outlined in the ad text. We have recently updated our application functionality to enable recruiters to make it mandatory for candidates to submit both a CV and covering letter when required. Very low response to our job advert (which I don't think is solely down to Charity Jobs but down to the employment market in general at the moment). We've found the platform very expensive however Matthew our account manager has been courteous and friendly. He encouraged us to upgrade our package but as we are a very small charity, this is not feasible at the moment.
