Getting the unit fitted was a bit of a nightmare with the need to send photo after photo of fuse boxes etc, but when the day arrived the fitter did an excellent job - put the unit exactly where I asked even though it meant running a cable etc. Polite and professional- couldn’t fault him.

Customer services where very helpful and sorted all my queries quickly. James the installation operative was on time, clean and tidy and very informative. Answered all my questions and sorted my issues quickly and professionally.

Applying for the charger was a bit tricky to do via my mobile you need to take time to complete all the information upload the photos. The charger was installed by a great guy who was very efficient and explained the working of the charger very clearly and didn't take as long as indicated. So far all is working well and I am really happy with how its operating, its certainly so much easier being able to charge from home via the charger as we had to mains charge our car for a couple of weeks initially until the BP Pulse unit was fitted.

The application process was a bit daunting, with all the questions and the uploading of pictures. It did not take 15 min but a couple of hours...However the customer service was good, helpful when we had a query. They told us it would take up to three weeks do be fitted and it was the case. All communications were good though and the technician who came to fit the charger was professional and polite.

Had to chase initially to get over the survey stage but once this was sorted everything was done quickly and efficiently. Charger was fitted in a very neat and timely manner by a very helpful and pleasant engineer. Car not due to arrive for another two weeks so can't comment on the actual charging process yet

Kept informed through the process and helpful that you deal with the application to power supplier. A step by step process diagram in your website for pre-sales would be helpful along with total costs. Fitter was very good managed to go a good job of making the internal cable trunking as unobtrusive as possible

My wife had the charging point put in via Motability as she is reg. DISABLED, firstly getting photos right was abit misleading as did not give option of outside fixing but sent them in anyway proved okay, Both electricians were fantastic, the point was explained and tested and is working well. My problems is that I seem to sign off the work without any connection with Motability .

Electrical Installation (Tomlinson) - excellent. Delay a bit! (24th Nov to end of May) annoying, but I understand the backlog caused problems. Now it is installed I am very happy!

Installation was great. Applying for my free charger was another story. Constant application request from BP pulse even though my application had been accepted. 3 months wait.

The installers were 5* excellent and did the work cleanly and efficiently. However I bought and electric car to save money and the cost of about £800 to install the charger seems very steep. I don’t get the car for another 4 weeks so cannot comment on whether it works or how quickly it will charge my car.

I received very good service, though installation information seemed quite complex understanding different units power etc A neighbour had unit installed a few weeks prior to mine ,waited since Xmas I was lucky about 8 weeks to install Engineer was contractor and was very quick and knowledgeable at installation stage ,the office contacted me once paperwork had been processed with electric company Happy with install in garage

The time between filling out my (first) application request to the unit being installed was superb. However, I kept receiving emails and text messages asking me to compete the form right upto and even after the unit was installed. Emailed the address given to ask why I was still receiving these messages and had I done something wrong but never heard back.

All carried out fairly quickly after the isolation switch was installed. Unfortunately our meter box was too full to install the trip switch in there too so have to put up with the extra box on the wall. Overall very happy with speed and engineers who were both very polite and tidy.

Much the same as a lot of the customers here, the actual installation and quality of hardware, was very good. The engineer was professional, polite and very helpful. He did a very tidy job. My thoughts on the initial application and the ongoing myriad of questions/information/photo's etc are best kept to myself. To me the answer is : send a surveyor to each property as a matter of course.. then everybody knows where they are.

I was initially worried due to the negative reviews, but I gave BP the benefit of doubt, from application to install date it took 3 weeks, BP customer service was very poor and communication was terrible, installer was very good and accommodating, I had to make the route for the installer as they don’t lift carpet or floorboards, but that wasn’t a problem.

The initial application was fairly simple but it had to be done via a smartphone, the form was quite long and if you lost wifi connection or left the form idle for too long you had to start again. Which is frustrating. Customer service are difficult to get through too. I spent 30 minutes on the phone waiting to speak to someone. It takes about 3-4 days for an email response. Overall they were helpful. It took almost 3 months from application to install, but our installation was delayed because of a few technical issues with out property. Our first installation date was also cancelled due to Covid. However on the day of installation the engineer was very nice, helpful and did the job quickly, neatly and was very tidy. No problems with the charging point itself, easy to use.
