“Very happy with the product. Excellent value for money. Promt delivery. The only problem I had was, I am 76 years of age and live in a flat and the guys dlivering the skirting said they are not allowed to carry the product up the staires to may flat and left the delivery at the bottom of the stairs and I had to carry 17 lengths of skirting up to my flat on my own.”

“Product is good quality. My delivery was 2 days later than the latest day specified and only got an email night before to let me know. I did chase the order by phone and was told the day for delivery but could not be informed of approximate time but that I would get a call half hour before. I didn’t get a call it just arrived. Would suggest a different tape being used to hold lengths together as the one used was a pig to get off and left sticky residue on boards all be it the edges backs.”

“Sent me skirting that was broken and then ignored my complaint email. It was only when I wrote again cancelling the order and demanding my money back that they got in touch. To be fair they did apologise and said they will refund me but they said I could keep the skirting (even though I told them I'd now brought from another supplier). So now I've got to dispose of almost 40ft of their broken skirting. Remember folks, Caveat venditor!”

“I am not at all happy with delivery. They emailed stating a re-delivery note would be put through the door if I wasn’t in at the time which I had to rush out. Courier stated product as “delivered” by putting it on my neighbours front lawn after not hearing anything from knocking on my door. Product has been left overnight in the rain on someone else property despite the above instruction.”

“Ordered edwardian architraves, they arrived in great condition and incredible value. Was hard to find trim in 58mm sizes, but this was perfect. Will need to buy skirting boards some point in near future. Will definitely come back here.”

“Quite a quick turn round with delivery, skirting, backmould and window boards. All came with edge protection and are ( still) wrapped for delivery purpose. I made a mistake with my order but it was rectified for me. I found that CE were easy to work with and are building a trustworthy reputation”

“The skirting boards arrived on time and the moisture-resistant 18mm MDF appears to be of good quality. However, I was very disappointed with the finish. The product was advertised as having a fine smooth finish and being factory primed, ready for installation and painting. Unfortunately, the primer coat contained numerous hard paint lumps, bumps and surface imperfections along the length of many boards. The finish was far from smooth and required a significant amount of additional sanding and preparation before it could be painted properly. As a professional decorator and carpenter, I would not describe this as a "fine finish" product. The extra preparation time largely defeats the purpose of ordering pre-primed skirting boards. The MDF itself seems good, but the factory finishing and quality control need considerable improvement.”

“Wrong dimensions sadly, board too short asked over phone for 212mm high board and then didn’t check paperwork confirmation that listed the shorter height of 119mm. Lovely quality board though, just wrong”

“The primed finish wasn’t up to your usual standard leaving a speckled, rough finish particularly around the moulded section of the skirting. It was like it had either been sprayed with a gun that left it all Speckly or sawdust was on the MDF prior to painting”
