“not happy with the order as it was sent out without the colour. just base coat was sent. although you sorted this out and sent the correct colour the following day this was a cost to me as the painter could not do his work and had to be sent elsewhere just to keep him busy at a loss to me”

“This product differs from a normal paste; however, once you understand how much of the product you need to undertake the work you have, which can be a minuscule amount from the small package of product. Upon application, the product has been effective (so far!). To work out how much of the product you need, some might find their O-level maths is not adequate.”

“I ordered 5 tubs of lime putty which were delivered to my father’s on a pallet. They were wrapped in black plastic with no obvious signs of damage. However when we unwrapped the plastic a mess awaited us. 3 tubs had been damaged ( probably by a fork lift truck). 1 tub was crushed at the side near the top, and the contents had spilled all over the other tubs. The second damaged tub had the seal broken. The third wasn’t bad. I sent a message via PayPal, saying the 2 tubs were damaged. (I did not mention the 3rd as it was minor) . The refund offer didn’t even cover the price of 2 tubs. In their opinion the damage wasn’t a problem as the lime putty was still usable. (There was only half left in the badly damaged tub! ) I then asked PayPal to intervene, and received another offer, which I accepted. After their response to my review, they are lucky that I didn’t leave 1 star. What happened to the apology!”

Dear S M Hart, The first we heard of any issue was not through direct contact from you, but via a PayPal dispute with some images and the message: “The palette must have been sent out damaged as there was no obvious damage before unwrapping.” No attempt was made to contact us beforehand. From the photos provided, we initially believed only one tub was damaged and promptly offered a full refund for that tub, plus an additional £10 as a goodwill gesture. When you later confirmed that two tubs were affected, we increased the offer to cover both, plus the inconvenience. Ultimately, you accepted our refund offer through PayPal, resolving the case. Our comment about the putty still being usable was intended as practical advice about not wasting usable materials, not as a dismissal of the issue; we offered a refund precisely because we took the damage seriously. “Can not fault service or product. Arrived in 24 hrs I bought the Earthborn paint . Decorator was very impressed with the paint, it covered our lime render really well and better value than other well known brands Thank you”
