“Although the product was very good (but expensive) Celtic Sustainables were absolutely terrible. The delivery timescale was wrong there automated notifications miss leading at best and even when I called to try and sort it all out and was promised a Saturday delivery they couldn’t even do that. I had to contact the courier direct and collect at my own expense. The product is fine but will buy from elsewhere next time.”

Thank you for taking the time to leave your review. We’re very pleased that you are happy with the product, but we’re sorry to hear that the delivery experience fell short of your expectations. The particular product you ordered is fulfilled directly by the manufacturer on our behalf. For this reason, we state clearly on the product page: “Colours are mixed to order and take approximately 2–7 working days to deliver regardless of delivery option selected at checkout.” This information is displayed prominently so that customers are aware of the timescales before ordering. Your order was placed on 5th August at 5pm and dispatched later that same week, which was well within the stated timescale. I understand you chose to collect from the courier on Saturday 9th, despite our attempts to arrange delivery beforehand. Unfortunately, once goods are with the carrier, delivery scheduling is outside our direct control. Even if delivery had taken place early the following week, it would still have been within the timeframe we specify on our site. Due to software limitations on our website, we are unable to show product-specific delivery timescales at checkout. For the small number of items where delivery can vary, like this product, this information is instead highlighted on the individual product pages. We will continue to work closely with both Keim and our couriers to improve delivery reliability and communication wherever possible. Thank you again for your feedback.

“I realsied that i needed some of Celtic's lime putty filler for a sepcial job in a hurry. Ordered on wednesday and needed on Friday but no express delivery option. So I ordered a pot on standard 2-3 day delivery and then contacted them asking if they could ship it ASAP. They came straight back and said yes no problem. I received an email so show that it had been was dispatched within mintues and it arrived the next day. Such polite and fantastic customer service. I would thoroughly recommend them.”

“Hi, Certainly! I would like to help you with a review. I like shopping at Celtic Sustainables. The range of Auro products stocked by Celtic are marvelous. I have nearly completed painting a bedroom with Plant Based White Emulsion. The product is excellent. The price is competative and affordable. The coverage is just right. It is so nice to be able to purchase Plant Based products. I am a Vegan. Celtic makes my life pleasant and easier. Decorating is without stress and hearache. I hope you will continue to stock such products. The world is a much better place because of Celtic Sustainables. Thanks Deana Edwards”

“This company is a great find, specialise in traditional lime building products. I live in a Victorian property which is designed to breath but find it very hard to find the right products. Celtic Sustainables was a good find. Their products are at a good price and arrive in good time.”
