“This paint is fantastic. Coverage is great. No nasty smell. Lovely and creamy to apply. Only one coat required. Just love it. Would highly recommend it. Would also highly recommend Celtic Sustainables. Easy to order. Very accurate colour charts. Speedy delivery. I won't be going anywhere else.”

“Quick delivery. But I realised I had made a mistake and ordered the wrong colour. When I asked to return it unopened, I was pointed to a clause in their website which essentially says "If it is not white paint, you can't return it!" Well, forgive me, but there are a lot of colours out there and white is just one of them. Make a mistake at your own expense!”

Hi there, We’re sorry that we couldn’t accept your return on this occasion. The paint you ordered was mixed to order, and in this case, a very dark colour (Bobble Hat from the Earthborn Range) was selected. As these paints are custom-tinted specifically for each order, they are non-returnable. For this reason, we clearly state on the product page: “Mixed to order paints are non-returnable. Exceptions may be made at our discretion.” We make it as clear as possible on our website which colour has been selected, with bespoke imagery showing the colour throughout the entire process, and labelling showing the colour name all the way through checkout. We sometimes do make exceptions to this rule for certain tinted paints, typically the more common, lighter shades. However, darker or more specific colours are much harder for us to reallocate, as they are far less frequently ordered and can sit unused for a long period. For that reason, we’re not always able to accept returns in these cases. We do understand your frustration and appreciate your feedback. Kind regards, Celtic Sustainables

“Great company and selection of eco products. Also rang them once about mildew on wall to get advice on what to treat with etc. in fact wasn’t sure what it was until told probably mildew. The person I spoke to took time to explain recommended paints etc and how to treat it. Ordered wool loft insulation, paints lime putty. Always prompt delivery and good prices. Certainly hard pressed to think of any negatives.”
