“The company were super fast in delivering the items which arrived well packaged. The water butt was exactly as described and looks very well made and robust. The universal filter kit to fit to the downpipe was equally well made but needed better fitting instructions. However I managed it ok in the end.”

“Absolutely terrible service. Delayed deliveries, delivery eventually came with damaged items and some items missing. Waited another week for a delivery that we agreed would definitely come Thursday and it arrived Friday. No communication about deliveries and I now have five damaged warmshell boards that had fallen from the lorry at some stage. And I paid extra £72 for this delivery. Shocking on all levels”

Hi Haydn, We're sorry that you were disappointed with your experience. This particular delivery became considerably more complex than a standard pallet delivery due to access restrictions at the delivery address. After the order was placed, it became apparent that the usual route used by the haulier was unsuitable because of a low bridge restriction. Unfortunately, this information was not provided at the time of ordering, meaning alternative delivery arrangements had to be discussed with both our supplier and the delivery network. Following this, the order was initially cancelled and refunded at your request. When you subsequently decided to proceed with the order, further arrangements had to be made with our supplier and their haulier to reinstate the shipment and provide an alternative delivery solution via van rather than the standard pallet service. This inevitably added complexity to both the delivery planning and communications process. Deliveries that require additional vehicle changes and handling carry a greater risk of delays and transit damage than a standard pallet delivery. While we understand your frustration regarding the delivery timescale and the condition of some items on arrival, these challenges arose from the exceptional circumstances surrounding the delivery rather than the normal service we provide. There was also a small omission from the original shipment, which was identified and promptly sent separately to complete the order. We would also like to clarify that no additional delivery charge was applied beyond the original delivery charge paid when the order was placed. The £72 referenced was the standard delivery charge selected at the point of order and not an additional charge incurred during the delivery process. When damage to several Warmshell boards was reported, we promptly arranged a refund for the affected items to ensure the issue was resolved as quickly as possible. Whilst we regret that this order did not proceed as smoothly as anyone would have liked, considerable efforts were made by ourselves, our supplier and our delivery partners to get the goods to you.
